Hello Tapas people,

I've just opened my Redbubble shop and I wanted to connect with other creators who use it already.

I asked my readers what kind of items they would like (inspired from my comics) and made an exclusive collection only for the shop.

Do you have any tip? How Redbubble works for you?

Also: follow for follow! I love to follow creators there, so link your page so I can have a look

Cheers!

Ah Redbubble is a lot of fun (I love making T-shirt designs!)

Honestly the only tip that I have for using Redbubble is not feel like you have to adhere to a single theme. Since you can have different categories, you can set one up for your comic as well as have others for whatever themes you feel like exploring later.

So happy for you opening up your Redbubble shop, congrats! You're welcome to check mine out if you feel like it and thanks for setting up the thread.

You have some amazing designs there!
I'm actually struggling designing the mugs, the image is always weird.
I see that you picked the best t-shirt colors for each design and your presentation looks amazing!
I love the patterns too... Is there a specific setting to upload an image as a pattern or does it apply automatically if you upload an image of the recommended size completely covered with your drawing?

Ah, thank you! (Seriously your Sushi poodles are so adorable!)

You know I had trouble with that at first, but you can shrink the image size on the mug using the drop down slider so you can readjust it.

Oh! Yeah you can turn any image of any size into patterns automatically by pressing these buttons here:

And you can readjust the size using the slider so you can decide how big or small the pattern becomes.

That's great!
And I'm super dumb, 'cause I totally tried this option on one of my designs and I couldn't make the link with the patterns ahahah
I'm just starting off and there are so many things you can do. I definitely need to do a lot of reading and testing
Right now I'm trying to add some designs of other creators to my favourite but sometimes the 'add to favourite' option is not available, what a bummer :(((((

I've missed that one before so don't you worry. It's a really easy button to overlook.

Oh yeah there are so many things and it all just takes time to get used to it all. I've made friends with the FAQ like you wouldn't believe hahah.

I've noticed that it does that and I've no idea why! Sometimes I'll favorite something and it won't show up in my favorites, either. I don't know if it's a browser thing or not so, I'll have to experiment with it.

I am on RedBubble too, just to add some extra prints and other products than in my shop.

We are on redbubble too! Haven't had much success there yet, but I would suggest making sure your images are properly setup on all the products.

Yup I am on it! Hmmm tips huh...well I uh...massively promote on social media? I have various art projects too, they tend to help in categorizing.

I've been on redbubble for a loooonnngggg time! I just started making stickers and shirts for my comic and I'll be promoting them on the comic anniversary next month

i have a society6 shop2 for prints but i was also considering redbubble, is it any good for posters/prints? i've only bought stickers there

I have a Redbubble shop but I don't know how to get people interested in my merch.
Here it is:

My merchs are not on Redbubble but on Zazzle8. It provides quality prints of my 5"x7" postcards and other stuffs.

I won’t sell anything on Redbubble until my comic has grown in sufficient popularity to warrant demand.
