I just installed it also, so I'm curious to know more experiences. So far I really like it just from what I've seen in the last hour since I made my account. I'm excited that I can share links in the post unlike on instagram Now I can directly link to my story since I mostly post art of that! (My username is the same on there if anyone wants to know.)
Update April 14th:
So I've had this app a couple days now. It was quite slow at first, but has sped up some today as the servers have adjusted to the influx of traffic. I have posted a few of my works so far and have gotten a couple likes here and there and my only follow has been from someone I already know from Instagram. That being said, I have also already gotten a reshare too, which is a huge deal.
Things I DO like:
* The ability to add links in the post and comments, unlike instagram.
* You can have a banner on your profile.
* You can add several links to your other social media in your profile.
* You can write a text post for your followers like on facebook, which is easier than instagram for certain things.
* You get a birthday cake icon next to your username on your birthday! (Which happens to be today for me ^_^)
* There is a special section for drawing challenges.
*They have different categories to put your art in so it is easier to find art you are looking for!
*I love the layout! It's not all just squares like instagram, feels a lot more natural to me ^_^
*I also like that they don't focus on numbers. Your main profile doesn't show the amount of followers you have. You have to actually go to the info section to see that if you want to know how many followers an artist has.
Things I DON'T like:
* No browser interface, but I'm sure they will add that later as the app grows.
* You can only use 3 hashtags, which I find just a bit restricting. I understand they want to bring the hashtag use down, but I think they should allow us at least 5 hashtags. There are a lot of words that can be used to describe an image and narrowing it down to 3 is hard.
* There is a premium version, but it is only available for Apple users (I'm Android), but I hear they will at some point give Android users the option to subscribe. I'm not sure what all the perks are, but depending on the price and perks I would consider supporting them financially.
*Seems to still be difficult to get noticed, but I am not sure if that is because of the huge influx of new accounts adding all their art and spamming the pages, so everything is getting buried so quickly.
