I haven't harped on this for a long time, but... why don't authors give us a reason to read their work? I mean, sell us on it. You know, with a tempting hook, line & sinker sort of blurb like you see on the backs of actual paper novels. Instead, most of the time it's just a title & cover art with the default phrase "Read (title) now on Tapas!" As I used to say a lot: You labored hard on your creation. It deserves more of an effort to promote it, doesn't it?
