Anyone want a letterer for free?

I'm wanting to get some more projects on my radar for Lettering. I will do it for free. I can't take on to many comics but I am willing to do 2-3 for free if anyone wants some lettering help etc. I can show you some of my work if you wish

Hello! I was hoping if perhaps I could take up on your offer on a page ? Or perhaps advice? I've been struggle with my lettering on many of my pages. Its like a hit or miss. If you want to of course! You don't have to if you don't want to. I am curious and would like to know where I stand with my lettering and if you may have any advice?

Hey Becky,

I would love to do a Page, if you want. But here is my advice.

• Your SFX is good. I like the mayhem of it so that was a good choice.
• I'm not a fan of the shape of your balloons. I think they would be one thing I'd be looking to improve.
• Your font positioning in the balloon, try to keep it centre, it's a little close to the top of the balloon in a few cases.
• I would also change the placement of the balloons in the second last panel to help the readers eye.

I can't really say much on that. You would honestly need to just test out different shapes instead of the oval one you have now. I always play around with mine until I get one that fits the character / story and the font

PANEL 6:
SFX: "creeeeek" : On door as Christine is entering

That's really awesome of you!

I'm not in need of one, but I hope others will take you up on your offer! I see a lot of awesome comics-- that need just a little help in the lettering arena-- lettering is one of my favorite parts of comiking!

Maybe you can post before and after pages too, just to show how you'd improve the pages?
(I'm curious to see it from an artistic perspective!)

I'm only really learning the craft of lettering so I don't claim to be an expert at all but I've studied up on a lot of it to know bits and pieces. It's putting it into practice that I need. But I'll happily show my work
