Yeah! I know right?! Antagonist are the key for the story! Without them, we can't have protagonist pursuing goals!

That's interesting, voice acting is no ordinary job to do, it's not just covering voice but they had to deliver the characters well. But if I'm being honest, I prefer sub over dub because mostly Japanese VAs are better, well this is just my opinion

In tactical RPG do you happened to play FGO?

@kyupol Nice, yea there is a saying you bound to meet up with a Trini wherever in the world you go XD
(Trini is short for someone from here)
Yep I have Indian in my ancestry too and he is right its a melting pot.

Seems the one from Trinidad is and you're right about the shared legends,
I myself never researched it properly I assumed it was from the Native tribes (Caribs & Arawak's), yep same wit those tribes, most of their traditions got stamped out too, saw on the wiki its a combination of Spanish, English, African, French and yep originated from the Duende https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douen

Nice you into the frequency stuff too TBH i sounds believable, likewise honestly don't know either  Love those type of topics, most of the story ideas I come up with are inspired by frequencies as a major tool, and videos on experiments done using frequencies to make small objects levitate, there's the legendary brown noise too so fair enough frequency range may hold other properties like the ancient cultures state. [Spoiler: human scientists were experimenting with specific Hz to evolve human test subjects and that also clashes with corrupt gods trapped within some frequency bands].
And yep soo true, looking at diff cultures the archetypes and attached values seem quite similar

@maisohilia456 thanks for thinking its amazing  and don't worry you got epic experiences too and many more to come I'm sure of it! True I know how the time goes when you're busy, but eventually some free time will show up so you can hang with your friends again and develop a fitness strategy, don't give up, as they say 'where there's a will there's a way!'

Action anime songs sound cool never heard of EyeShield21 and Kuroko no Basket I got to check em out on youtube, I seen my friends play Guilty Gear and never played BlazeBlue either I got to check Ryuki too
Sounds like stuff I'd jam for inspo when working on an intense action scene!

Geek away, we are all geeks up in this forum I'm sure XD Heard the name Hasbin but never saw it either, probably heard of it from these forums also. Hell's Greatest Dad, I'm just picturing the devil proudly singing all dramatic - yep I gotta check them out too then  :musical_note:

Nice Indonesia, hevent been there before but very fascinated by Asian art and Countries.
What's your fave tourist attraction there? And a favorite urban legend?
Congrats on starting your comic yep welcome to share it. Did any of your Indonesian heritage inspire themes in your series?
That is an awesome goal wanting to become a well known mangaka and having an anime adaption keep at it :muscle: It's my 1st time making a webcomic also, it's been a fun learning experience with each episode, and similar to you my goal is that mines either become a game or TV Series. Cheers to bot of us reaching our goals :beers: :star2:

I wish you luck on your work :four_leaf_clover: wish you all the success! And yes, cheers! :beers:

You definitely should try listening to action anime songs, they're good inspiration especially to write and draw action scenes, I've been doing that for years, it's helpful!
Eyeshield 21 is a great sport anime &manga series but the anime is different from the manga because the anime makes some new story and cut one group of characters to make the ending differently, I read the manga after watching the anime, and that's when I noticed they just waste potential of great characters and throw away the even greater ending. So, perhaps you should check the manga too. Too much potential to be seen

Oh, you also want to check on Ryuki? Well, I can't tell you a lot because it will spoil things but, I'm sure that show is the base of all wish granting story battle that exist today. Yes, even Fate franchise. Because the show exist way before Fate a thing
As for Hazbin Hotel, yes, it's show aired in prime video. But you can just hear the song from YouTube. I mean, mostly people in YouTube already spoiled the story from parts so I think it's not a secret anymore

I hope you like what you find! ah, but of course you can have your own opinion too, so I won't be forcing you to watch all of that

What's your webcomic about? Is the genre action?

Yeah, though.. My favorite will cause World war.. So I will not answer that, sorry.. :joy:
Yes, I watched most of Fate series, well except Heaven's feel because I don't like the route's heroine..
But my brother spoiled me the story so, yeah, I know the main storyline too
Still, Fate Zero is my favorite, I love the mc especially

My favorite tourist attraction? I'm not sure.. I rarely go on vacation after.. Family business. Let's say that
But, the thing I enjoyed here is probably going to cities with my family. Usually, we went to Pekanbaru City to celebrate Chinese New Year. Well, that's almost years ago. Since we didn't go out anymore
Urban legend here is unique honestly, but mostly only old folks who lived long knew about that.. If I had to choose a favorite then.. It's probably Ramayana. Oh, right. Yes, I put one of Ramayana character in my story in the future episodes but only as extra character that's being used by the antagonist, though. Yes, my story had some mythology characters in it

Sadly, none of Indonesian heritage does things in my story except for the character. Mostly I've got the ideas from my imagination and shows that I've watched until now  but, I mean, who doesn't do that?

Thanks friend :grinning::pray: yep goodluck on your journey too :four_leaf_clover:
Yep good inspiration music, truly sets mood for art and writing scenes, think thats how I'd end up listening to a specific gnere. Also found myself listening to 1 hour mystery instrumentals and horror ambience for scenes when the characters are exploring the abandoned towns.

Oh nice there was a feeling it sounded familiar, I google it and remembered seeing cool football themed action figures, Eyeshield21:+1: I usually end up watching the anime adaption but yea seems to be a trend when i talk to people who read manga of various series. Another fave is Hellsing both anime and ova (i forgot to mention it in og post), but always remembered one of my friends had said the 1st series was totally different from manga, and then she lent me her mangas, the OVA followed it thankfully. Wonder why they went for a drastic change in Eyeshield?

Thats ok to spoil Ryuki, I terrible with Spoilers 🤣 Interesting it was the one that inspired stuff like Fate etc? Never saw Fate either but aware of the characters and the spirit battle theme some cool designs too of historical figures :+1:
Yep will check out the songs :+1: Yep true everyone has their own faves, but usually open to checking out stuff as its also fun seeing what's out there :art:

Yep action-fantasy inspired by Shonen Combat but also inspired by infection gnere and monster horror eg. Resident Evil, Dead Space and Covid with the social distance

(Started as a Action Horror Video Game idea 1st)

Comic follows two brothers who become carriers of a virus (unwillingly) and anyone they infect would instantly mutate into monsters (think social distance, anyone who get within 15ft radius would instantly turn, only carriers are immune to eachother). Side effects grant carriers the ability to manipulate states of matter (liquid, solid, gas etc) so the bros use this to fight against the infected.
Eventually other carriers show up, and some of them see opportunity to use the outbreak to create chaos (shonen combat aspect).

BRB to comment on the other post :+1:

I really don't play that many mobile games honestly...I do like the Fate series though if that is the one you are speaking of.

Family Business, yep dont give up hope, and checking out the various cities is exciting stuff and hope you guys get to go again in 2025
Pekanbaru City i googled it, first time hearing about there
also saw this statue come up a few times, looks cool

Nice I know the Ramayana, my mom side of family is Hindu so grew up hearing about it and there's a festival in my country called RamLeela where they act it out (Indians came to Trinidad in 1845).
both you and @kyupol have similar legends to me in Trinidad, that's real cool
That's awesome you featuring mythology characters and one from Ramayana in your series too  Is the character is a surprise?

Not sure if the names are different across countries but in another series of mines one character is inspired by Hanuman and another is inspired by Maa Durga.

Lol yep exactly who doesn't? XD same the current series I'm posting to Tapas is far from the sunny Caribbean and far up north :joy: One of the supporting characters is from my country but he shows up much later.
But you never know, in this world of endless possibility, a random streak of local inspiration can hit you when you least expect it XD

Whoa, your webcomic sounds like it will be a hit! The theme is amazing!

I think, regarding Eyeshield change, the studio wants to end the story with the main team defeating the rival's.
the ending in manga is international game, so I think that should be way better ending because we'll see Sena (the mc) becomes an international league player and the real deal

about Ryuki inspiring Fate is because Ryuki is a show where there's battle royale to grant one wish to the survivor, That theme came from Ryuki before Fate or Madoka magica, the only difference is the characters and settings

it's totally okay, take your time!

Oh right, that statue is one of the sightseeing spot too
it's been while since I saw it though

oh, that's great! at least I don't have to explain Ramayana to you
Interesting, I wish your mother good health

the character isn't explained in words but in action only because the character is just used as tool for the antagonist to set obstacle for his enemy

Yeah, I know right? everyone would just do what they usually likes and familiar with.
if I had to say my opinion, I'm not very cultural so it's hard to put Indonesian culture in my stories.
I've planned for 5 different story and none of those had Indonesian heritage
I'm sorry if I set your hope up.. I just love other countries more than mine, honestly

Yeah, though.. My favorite will cause World war.. So I will not answer that, sorry.

Now you have to share! I am a writer, curiosity kills us much faster than it kills the cat!

Okay.. Okay.. If you insist..
It's Komaeda
Sorry if you happen to hate him
