Apology for any unnecessary drama started with the repost/TOS topic

hey guys it's Anxiety Attack O' Clock and i'm just dropping in to apologize about another topic i made that started a bit of unnecessary drama and handled poorly altogether.

my intent with the topic was to get opinions on the subject of promo series that featured reposted art before talking to the creator (because i'm not a very confrontational person, i like getting others' input on something before going forward and i figured the forums were a good way to get it fast, honestly i wasn't thinking about consequences at the time. there are some other personal reasons why i didn't go to the user first but i'm not gonna talk about that publicly). it ended up looking like i was talking/complaining about the user behind their back and i own up to that and the fact that it was all in all a really bad idea to link the series itself too, i should've just described the comic instead. the topic didn't get as badly derailed as some other ones did but i still handled it poorly and i wanted to publicly apologize for it because i wasn't thinking about the consequences of making it the way i did.

I don't know if having the original post linked is a good idea all things considered. It might just get people who weren't involved in the initial thread to start looking into it.

I haven't spoken to Cyndi so this is just conjecture, but it was probably closed/hidden to stop any escalation.
