Today is National ASL (American Sign Language) Day in the US!

This is a day that celebrates a beautiful and vibrant culture. If you produce any comics or novels (or have any comic or novel recommendations) that feature characters who are deaf, use ASL (or any other sign language), or positively represent the deaf community- feel free to drop your links here!

Below is one of my favorite comics by Carlisle Robinson (what qq) as well as my comic The Unstoppable Monkey Bunny.

Great thread! I don't have any in my work but here's a comic I love with a great depiction of a character in a team of Power Rangers style sentai who does sign:

This thread is a great idea! I've met a ton of amazing people in the deaf community.

My MC, Jamie, lost her hearing in an accident partway through the series. She and her father learned how to sign together. After the accident, she wears a hearing aid. I really want to explore more stories that feature other deaf characters.
