Are any of you guys actually part of a comic artist circle?/Would you join one?

....A group wherein you all create a comic/comics together?
I'm mainly a BL comic artist and I've so longed to be part of a circle but never had luck. There were invites but the projects never really pushed through except these 2 anthologies I was part in with other BL comic artists and writers. Sadly, the BL comic artists there weren't as dedicated to comic making and/or BL as I was so it was impossible to invite them into a circle that I envision will release comics bimonthly. It always thrills me to meet another BL comic artist, especially locally, but they were already part of other groups. ^^;

I always work by myself and I enjoy that but there are some times when I think it'd be fun to do this with others of the same trade.

anywho i dont do any BL comics. but i HAVE drawn a butt before in my comic Robo Hole (so promo. such shameless. wow. very plug.) but i actually really wanted to draw a comic circle once. i thought itd be really fun cuz i saw one on meetup and it seemed like a pretty small group so itd be easy to squeeze myself in there. i never eneded up going but drawin all the time for work and fun and junk turned me into the hermitest of people. so i looove the idea of being a hermit around other people so i at least feel kinda cool

I do a guy x guy romance here on Tap, but I also do a bunch of other things. I'm not in any circles, mostly because 1) I'm too lazy to go out and look and 2) my art friends have interests aligned elsewhere. Though I think one of my friends is slowly turning around to comics, so I'll keep an eye on her. lol.

I would love to be part of anthologies, but I'm not sure how to go about that. I've applied to one before but was rejected so now I'm posting the rejected short series here.

Personally I would love to be part of an artist circle. I used to do some stuff with some of the London MCM people and was in one of their anthologies, but that was a while ago. I would love to do BL but shy away from romantic storylines though. I guess I haven't come up with anything I liked yet.

I used to, but unfortunately decided to leave the group because of differences (we're all still friends, but as time passed the leaders seemed to care more about making money (!) than making something we enjoyed, and I didn't want to work in that atmosphere). I would probably like to join one again, there's nothing like working with other people who share your passion.
