Since I’ve been unable to work for a few months now I’ve been reading five books a week and making a lot of trips to the library.

So what books are you reading? Comics, novels, or whatever other ~offline~ media!!

I am reading "This Book Is Full Of Spiders", a fantasy, paranormal horror, and comedy novel. It's the sequel of the "John Dies At The End". The story is weird but charming and the comedy flows naturally between grotesque scenes. I basically like horror stories with inexplicable causes.

I've been reading Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil for the past 5 days or so thinking that I could binge it in a day since it's only 245 chapters long.

I couldn't. I broke through the webnovel reading app's max mission minutes of 960 minutes a week within 3 days, and still only reached about 50%of the novel progress.

I think the novel chapters are longer than the average webnovel chapter, that's why.

I'm also trying my best to remember names since the main character is reincarnated through multiple worlds and takes on a different name and face every time.

It's like Buddha's cycle of reincarnation but endless. No wonder people want to end it and just reach Nirvana lolol so much lives lived.

Story wise, it's like the more popular Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, except when our main character completes the supposed world's storyline, the book doesn't end. We gets whisked into the next world where he has to repeat the same mission again and again but in a new setting.

I am reading Journey to the West for quite some time now. Old Chinese novels are charming, but sometimes I am getting really tired of the characters and people committing suicides because of indescribably stupid reasons
Hope to start reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms before new year, a page long descriptions of one person's names, here I come!

I'm reading The Broken Earth series by N.K Jemison. The first book was borrowed out to me by someone and once I got into it I could NOT put it down and ran to buy the second book. So good 10 outta 10

I'm currently listening to the audiobooks of any detective novel I can get my hands on. I'm a sucker for detective novels, even ones that aren't that great ehehehe

Been reading through the Bible actually--it's genuinely interesting when you read into things closely.
As outlandish as the stories are on the surface, there's old wisdom in these tales--it's impossible to call these old authors stupid.

The oldest written book (Book of Job) in its entirety is literally about the fact that life is arbitrary and full of suffering, and that we have no choice but to keep going while holding on to our moral integrity. The whole thing's a wild ride.

I just started reading The Warehouse and am currently enjoying the worldbuilding! XD
It's set in the future and centers on the effects of technology and corporate espionage.

I'm currently reading through Ogden's Magic, Witchcraft, and Ghosts in the Greek and Roman Worlds. It's a great source for Classical folklore and beliefs.

Ooh! Get on YouTube and look up a user called Tace Cook for an enormous set of old BBC audio plays. Almost all of the ones posted are mysteries like Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle. My favorite of the ones I've heard so far is Crooked House.

I'm currently listening to the audiobooks of any detective novel I can get my hands on.

I recommend anything by Raymond Chandler. His Marlowe stuff is like American noir poetry.
