Are you in your own comic?

Well, I recently started a journal comic Rambling so yes. xD
As for my long form comic Fallacy not intentionally. There are however bits and pieces in different characters but they definitely aren't me.

In University of Speed, my role is a racing coach for the high school students. I didn't use my real name though so he's called Coach Kulot (meaning curly/wavy hair)

And I love shouting at my characters using a megaphone!XD

Literally speaking, I don't appear at all in my comic - cameo or not.

However, technically speaking, I do : p. Seeing as a majority of all the characters in my comic share some kind of personality trait - positive AND negative - with me, arguably I could say I am in my own comic! One of the characters who appears used to be a persona of mine years before I started writing my comic - so y'know.

My rabbit and me are the main characters in my comic Mini Rex. I'm basing it on things that have actually happened, so technically my rabbit is also me since I interpret his dialogue. Do you have any idea how you would put yourself in your comic?

I don't start as myself, but I back up @heterodont. I think almost every character have some piece of my personality. However my main character is based on myself and my personal experiences. Not everything of course, but a lot.

Mine is a slice of life on my own family, so yes, I do star in my own comics. It's called Veronika's Little World and it's semi autobiographical journal on raising my little family.

Or maybe not exactly me, but my OC, who was based on me at first, and then 'grown up' to be a separate character.
(let's face it, we all had this one OC based on ourselves. Right? RIGHT???)
She used to appear in my every story till highschool- sometimes she was just mentioned, sometimes she appeared somewhere in the background, sometimes she was one of not-so-improtant character in one of the chapters. It was kind of a game with my friends who I used to show my stories to, to find her ( :
....and later I stopped doing this, don't know why. Maybe I should put her in my current project somewhere in the background, as I still do with my other OCs.

I don't put myself in my comics.

I base some of my characters on parts of myself and my experiences (though it's not all on one character it's distributed among them) aside from that, nope, don't put myself in comics and don't think I ever well. Hell I don't think I'll ever even put someone the same race as me in a comic let alone me as a self insert.

Oh the Irony! is basically Me and 3 of my OC's which represent my everyday friends in life in which i re-tell crazy stuff that happens in my life, but extended up with 120% more crazy!

Medley is about some silly stuff which happened to me and which I draw, or drawings of my OC (latest episode is a drawing of Elya, my character, as a siren x)

The main character of the manga Symphony Knights is heavily based on me. Still not me per se, but shares my appearance, personality traits, and taste in musical instruments (haha). We have the same age, hair, eyes, height, and general figure. We both have played trombone for the same amount of time, and we both have a terrible sense of direction and a insanely short fuse. She is a lot braver than me, though.

And then there's Nope.
Which is me.
And mostly true stories.

I'm not a character in Polyphemus but if I do a crowd scene you can be certain I'll fit myself into the background somewhere.

I am, however, present in the personalities of all my characters. Both Odysseus and Polyphemus share many similarities with me and as I write more of the comic, the more of myself I see in them; especially Polyphemus.

I was having difficulty with an upcoming scene for a long time because I couldn't figure out how to get it to make sense until I took a step back and realised that the answer lay in asking myself what I would do in the circumstances. I realised that the way I would behave was exactly the way the character would behave and the reason it took me so long to think of it was because I just assumed that they were a completely separate person to me. It was super interesting because I learnt more about both myself and the character because of this, but was a little disappointing because... well, the things that happened in the scene weren't exactly the best and so I'm not sure it was a positive thing to relate to. d:

Most characters from my stories have some aspects from my personality. But yes, I'm APM in Team Trouble, it's a comic that shows me and my friends/team.

PS: Akira isn't real... yet. hehe

I actually do star in my own comic called The United, but I don't show up until book two. I only have one chapter done from book one. And probably won't be posting it until next year once Psychosis is at least have way through

I've been in my own comic a few times! A few years ago I was in it as "Vector", who is a techie weirdo that turned out to be a shape-shifting alien...

Then I did a special one-shot mostly to use for a profile picture for the Dobble & Ed Facebook page, with me drawing in the center of my characters...

I'm always a sucker for breaking the fourth wall and stuff like that!

For my journal comic Today Nothing Happened I was the main character! : D

I don't appear in my current comic, and don't have plans to add myself -- though there are characters who were originally inspired by people I knew!

I myself am not in my web comic Life of an Aspie in anyway shape or form. However, as someone born with a mild-ish case of Asperger's Syndrome (which is very similar to being autistic), I guess you could say my main character in LooA, Susan Graham who's also an aspie, is like me in some ways.

I'd say all my characters each have a little piece of me in them. Some good some bad.
