Are you new here? - Old advice that doesn't work on Tapas anymore

This is awesome advice! Certainly coming back to refer to this checklist once in a while.

Currently starting out my own WebToon series Baby Samurai which can be found on Line Webtoons (don't mean to promote the Line Webtoons).

1. I whole-heartedly am grateful that you mentioned how we shouldn't be put of by other's work. Often times I do find myself feeling that way because it seems like I'm remaining stagnant while others continue to grow. But I've learned that there are ways to counteract that attitude. Sometimes, I recommend just sketching anything. It doesn't even have to pertain to your comic, just get some doodles out of your system. I've realized by doing that, I gain a little more practice while I just relax. Also, I wanted to thank the creator for this wonderful article, because as a new artist on tapastic, I have been struggling to get my series, Poison Heart, out there. Thank you

Lol thank you, but its literally like that though. You see all these other peoples' art and compare it to yourself and beat yourself up when you shouldn't. Practice takes time ya know

Nope! Tapas is for everyone!

No. That would be insane. If you are worried about your art, you can ask for feedback in the forums. Don`t be scared. In my personal experience, people in Tapas are very supportive and some people give incredibly accurate advice in how you can improve.

So, I notice that you don't mention the novel side of Tapas (if you did, I might've missed it). Is Tapas mainly for comics? Are novels overshadowed?
