Oh no, I don't consider the lack of attraction to be racist at all (otherwise, I would be calling myself racist; and more importantly, I'm totally aware there is much more to attraction than similarities/ differences).
It's the idea that the behaviour of a small subsample of a nationality/ethnic group can impact people so deeply to actually alter their esthetic perception that I find very problematic.
Actually, it's something I'm very confused and curious about, because I come from a country with little racism against Indians, but also, little mixed couples with Indians even when they are available. And now I'm in a place with strong prejudice against Indians (sometimes openly), but a lot of mixed couples. It does happen in my home country with other communities, but I came to understand how it works, why etc. I'm not at this stage yet in this specific case we're speaking of.
