hello, I'm an amateur artist looking for a writer to create a webtoon with, mainly for fun + practice! I've never made one before and would like to try it out!
I intend for this to be a chill, unpaid collab. I'd prefer a shorter story to start with since that would probably be easier to have fully realized, but we can discuss. I'm looking for a writer who has similar tastes as me over any skill/experience as I would like for us to just have fun!
I can work with a story of your own or we can also create a story via a more collaborative effort. I'm not much of a writer, but I am happy to help out ideas-wise or try coming up with pitches.
I really enjoy romance [GL/BL/etc] as well as slice of life, comedy, and drama -- anything with a strong focus on character(s) and their dynamics. Branching out with genre a bit is cool too. For a frame of reference, some works I really enjoy are:
- Skip and Loafer
- Girl Meets Rock!
- After The Curtain Call
- Kemutai Hanashi
I aim to draw in an overall simple art style inspired by the above mentioned works. I'd prefer to share examples of my art through email, but be aware its more on the amateurish side.
