Hello there. My friends and I are looking for an artist for a webcomic we're working on. I saw your ad and I thought you may be interested in our story. I made an ad days ago, but I'll repost here to show you how prepared we are with this comic:
The story goes like this:
Quincy Q. Quinn is killed by an intergalactic showrunner and given a superhero ring, granting him the abilities of the Red Giant. In order to stay alive, he must keep the ratings up. Things get difficult when his superior predecessor creates a show on a rival network so he can keep his fans. Story revolves around Quincy chilling in a small town with his sidekick as well as the villains hired for the show. Think Diamond is Unbreakable meets Saiki K. Story is planned to be a love letter to silver age comics.
The art-style is reminiscent of something out of a silver-age comic book mixed with something you’d find in an anime.
To give you an idea of what we’re going for, here’s a picture of what our villain will look like by our character artist, Alaina:

I’ve been working on this project for four years now. I’ve written countless scripts, lore, timelines, character sheets, etc. etc. The history behind this story’s universe is so thick you can take a bite out of it (and I bet my bottom dollar it tastes good too). Here’s a sample script just to show how confident I am:
Keep in mind that this story is a passion project. All of us are getting paid depending on how well the comic does. The plan is to get three chapters done before uploading on Webtoons so you can have more free time (this also helps me finalize plans for marketing).
Once we complete an issue, we'll submit it on Comixology. We plan on making merch down the line. Profits will be split evenly (there's gonna be five of us). As for the story itself, everything is planned out. So far, my friend and I have started Issue #2.
If you're still open hit me up. I'd love for someone like you on the project. I know you said no sci-fi, but I thought it was worth a shot.
