Hiho! tapas forum I've return,.

I've been a inactive artist for a good 5 months now because of college but I am planning to make a comeback to social media this week. In the mean time I'm pretty bored so let's chat and I wanna hear what's going on with artist community on tapas. We can chat about Why did you become artist, what are you planning to do with your abilities, what inspired you, pretty much anything art like. Show me some art too of course (we are here to appreciate art come on). I wanna meet more artist lol! Also in the mean time since I'm coming back to social media I'll draw like 5 headshots free.

Recently yes, i've planning for a webtoon for a while now and am working out the outline before I start scripting. It's a lot of work writing though because I have so many plans in my head but at the same time when writing out it's so overwhelming. Do you have same problem? ^ ^

Yeah, I usually write down story beats,and if I want anything extra Ill add it in as long as the beats remain

How was it like working on your first webtoon? Since this will my first time doing one it's helpful to learning from others ^ ^

Somedays it feels unrewarding but mostly I get a sense of accomplishment when people find interest in them

I can relate to that in some well but for art instead as sometimes I feel low motivation but comments really motivate me. For your webtoon I see your doing a magical girl webtoon, what inspired you?

I just really like magical girls, and I wanted to tell a coming of age story.

I love the energy in your art btw! For now it's more like getting people to notice your work. I haven't started my webtoon yet since i'm still writing the outline but while i'm doing that i'm trying to build a audience and it feels lonely at times since no one notices or likes (but that's mainly due to social platforms like instagram).

Geez... that is the truth. But one good thing is spending time here, looking at other people's comics and creating a community. I kind of forgot about this because it feels hard just JUMPING INTO OTHER'S DISCORD and then the topic is like.... way outta this world... and you feel intimidated to speak.

On the other hand, you start a topic here, it does make some traction. Start where you can, and then push outward.

Oh, and don't forget your HASHTAGS on TWITTER/INSTAGRAM. ENDLOADING the bottom is a way to start off again... I shamelessly do it too.
