Well... I was expecting to see original artwork and not just... redraws. He is not bad, but it seems that he relies way too much in references and copying already existing images. While the style can go detailed, when he simplifies it, some evident anatomy errors become more visible and those errors could become even more if he doesn't over-rely on the references.
He may do good if he offers to do portraits of pets or people, but I don't think he'll be able to do more challenging commissions with original composition and arrange, as his errors may become more evident when not having a solid reference to follow, as well that clients would incline to something that feels more original than replicated, but of course that's me and basically what I've seen happening most of the time with good imitators.
They are kind of stuck quite thightly into the comfort zone and basically, most of the illustration is already solved for them, he could end up blocking himself and not knowing how to continue an image if he doesn't practice and goes out of his comfort zone.
