thank you! yeah I had the same feeling about the sky, and I struggled with the expression a bit as well. thanks!

Very well done. Only things is the main colors and the sky colors. Your piece somewhat uses color theory and I think the brown on the wood should be a bit more saturated. They sky should also be more saturated; a more saturated form of the blue on her dress.

Good work.

I mean I am trying to find something to criticize but I just can't seem to find anything. The imperfections of the piece just reinforce what it is.
The tiny home could be a perspective problem but instead just creates a sense of claustrophobia. The off saturation of the colors also creates a sense of unease, and details like the darkened fingers create a piece that first glace seems to be subdued in colors, but on closer look is unsettling. Well done is all I can say.

Interesting! I've heard that the sky should be both more and less saturated! Not sure which option to go with haha. But I agree if I increase saturation for the wood a more saturated sky will tie the work together better.
thanks for the feedback!

Haha, yeah, I mean I'm use to working digitally, so traditional line inking was hard in that I couldn't fix perspective and such. But I'm glad it worked out!

hi!! This is very lovely first off!
My biggest criticism is the use of color and how the values are very washed out and a tad muddy. Even flat coloring can convey a sense of depth if used to their full advantage. I am on the phone right now otherwise I'd go more in depth. I will try to remember to give resources and tutorials when home.

Ooooooh it reminds me of old fashioned tarot cards! Very detailed and yet simple!
Gorgeous!

It does! I just realized.

On that note, what do people feel about taking on a Tarot card project? That's 78 illustrations plus the card back.

Ooohh Tarot cards are fun  I just don't think I can handle 78 illustrations alongside a comic and commissions ^^''' But that there should be plenty of people here who could potentially collab

i would rotate the runners so it instead of rocking the crib side to side it rocks back to front, right now, it looks like it could over balance really easily

One could start a tarot card tapas collab, with each individual working on one or more illustrations!

It could help promote their comic and artwork!!!

Should we contact an admin to see if they're interested?

I actually wondered this too! But this was actually directly referenced from several 1600's cribs so I guess it was just a trend back then? But I agree, it probably would have looked more natural if it was front and back. Thanks for the feedback!

Sure. I'll write a draft of the proposal, @ an admin or two
and see what they think.
Maybe they'll like it, sort of like the Christmas collab!

Great! Thank you for working on the post, excited to help with this project!
