It's when someone wakes up and finds out they're in another world that's not their own. Usually, it's a magical faraway land with dragons, wizards, princesses, the whole shebang.

Sometimes, the MC becomes a chosen one or they have to now fight the big bad or something. I feel an example most people are familiar with (assuming they don't consume a lot of anime/manga) is The Wizard of OZ. Like, it's not entirely the exact same thing, but it has similar element to it.

I don't really know how to mark my own content as sensitive on instagram and twitter. How do we do it? Should we also add some tag too or something?

as far as i'm aware the only way on twitter is to mark your profile as having sensitive content in the settings but i don't think there's a way to set it for a specific tweet unless twitter itself reads it as such. the how to would just be going to the settings > privacy and safety then checking the second box here:

I'm sure you can probably change it back after the specific tweet but i don't know if it keeps the mature warning on previous tweets since it's not something i've done myself

Insta doesn't seem to have any options so the best bet would probably be setting a warning image first then putting the actual image after

quick Q about discord since I'd feel like an idiot making a thread for it but I'm aware of being able to make servers but are you able to make private group chats as well? or is that the same thing?

Um. You can make multiple server? You can appoint one as your private group chat.

Just click the plus button on the last server list.

u absolutely can, and u dont have to make a whole new server to do so (although this will also accomplish the task, with the added fun of getting to make ur own emojis, but thats beside the point.)

open a dm with an existing contact, then click the icon at the top right that looks like a person with a plus sign to add more people to the dm. You now have a group dm!

Let me tell you the story:

It all started when @DokiDokiTsuna created a thread out of curiosity to understand why Rey from Star wars had such a hatedom. This discussion has been on for a while.

Later @skicoak had the hillarious idea of making a pun with the word "Rey" asking about the hatred for Rey Misterio, a popular mexican wrestler. People started to catch up and created random threads asking why people hate different characters with the word Rey/Ray in it.

So it's already been explained that forum goers aren't allowed to "solicit sales on the forums" which has extended to advertising commissions but what I'm seriously wondering (not to stir up trouble but simply ask/propose) would it be possible at least to allow for a thread to exist where artists who want to offer their services for free or at a price can advertise or just let it be known that they're available to work with/for someone and offer a link or something directing to where they can be reached?

I've been silently brooding over it for a while especially given it's permitted for writers (and artist) to offer paid/unpaid collabs and it feel unbalanced. And again I'm not trying to stir up the pot but I'm just curious if it's feasible.

There had been another thread that I believed would be able to stay up since by known definitions of solicitation it didn't appear to be violating any forum rules but still got closed/taken down anyway. Maybe if anything I'm just wondering why that one got pulled but if an answer can't be given I guess that's fine too.

I get the feeling it's akin to why GAIA doesn't allow it - people might be under age and unable to. It goes against TOS in the light of "it takes money away from the actual site" since the currency doesn't pass through them. IE Commissions on GAIA for gold/platinum is 100% okay because it's a free currency you earn, and technically you aren't making any money off it.
I wholeheartedly agree and would rather see a thread to see people's commissions to participate with the community here more - but I think they're wanting this forum to be about free unpaid collaboration, which is both good and unhealthy. On the one hand, people can create together and become friends and bond, and it's pretty cool. On the other, more disgusting hand, it keeps that circle of art doesn't pay (unless you're super famous so lol) mentality alive and healthy.
On note, GAIA people are able to circumvent this system with the loophole of something like: I do commissions for free currency (the gold, platinum, trade for items, or just free) and then they link to their website where somewhere on it says they take commissions. If they straight up say "for RLC email me", that's more likely to be flagged and taken down. And people are drawn by prices vs quality usually. So just posting to their tumblr, where there's a link at the top that says commissions is safer for them; posting a link to the page about the commissions is more likely to be flagged. Again, because of the Under 18/ Under 13 nature of that site.
