I'm so sorry - I just... I'm laughing at this post. That's all I gotta say. I can't even try and give a proper reply to this. I'm off for the weekend. Stay safe, ya'll.
I type my story outlines out on Word and save them all to a hard drive. That way, I have them all in one place and don't need to worry about whether or not a platform changes on me.
They're a pretty cool way to show narrative ques, especially in horror. For myself, I use them to show: A) A character isn't human or is no longer human. B) The information provided has changed the situation/mood of the story. C) Narrative repetition (such as repeating previous info/dialogue wit…
Yeah, that's kinda weird -- because muting the category usually works to get rid of all related topics. You may be seeing people promoting using the wrong categories...which, not much you can do outside of redirecting them to the promo category. And...they'll either do that, or not.
Hey ya'll -- It's like Saturday night over here, and I'm heading to bed. Already seeing this thread about to derail, so please bring it back to topic or else I'll just close it. In general, just be civil. No need for aggressions over art style of all things. Oldest topic in the art world -- you'…
Since it's a college setting, you really get into the whole "college is what you make it" vibe, which was definitely how I went about it. Now, if you're thinking of making a college setting that's large, this is easier to do because there's so many options for your characters to do personal growth. …

Yeeah....the list of upcoming comics is pretty big for me right now. I guess that's why I've taken a break from posting consistently. I wanted to get the list in order, see which ones could be one shots, short comics, and longer arcs. So far, the break has helped me understand the type of brand I…

Hi there! I noticed your thread is under Promotions -- which could be why it's not getting a lot of interaction. I think at this point, a lot of users have muted the Promo category to avoid straight up advertisement. So it might help to change the category of your post since your OP is less…

I'd say the merits on school systems (combined with personal experiences) make for even better material. Because...well, yeah -- if you went through a shitty system, it does reflect in how you see school and education. Likewise, if you got through a system that's pretty supportive of its students, a…
Yeeeh, I'm with most people. Since I do engineering, a lot of my monthly check goes into rent and my bank accounts. I split up two accounts for spending and savings. I guess I could give up some money from my spending account, but it'd definitely go towards a reliable company. By "reliable", I mea…
Alright, I'm gonna do a speed run, since I've come back to the forums since Friday annnnd...there's several flags for this thread. I'll be real -- not gonna read all of this. Most of you are adults, and I'd like to believe you'll behave like adults to what I'm about to say. Here we go: To the …

I'm an Electrical Engineer that deals with design work, electric equipment maintenance, and distribution automation systems. A lot of that just goes into making sure people have their power, especially after storms and harsh weathers.

Adding to what @joannekwan said -- Most users don't expect several people to be behind one account (unless that's outwardly spoken or it's from the mod team). So if something is posted under your name, they're gonna assume it's from you. There are some users here that work in groups, but they…

I'm going through a similar thing. I graduated college with my Electrical Engineering degree in May and work started around June, so that's feelings kinda been with me for a bit. Though I will say I switched from working no comics pages to writing scripts. I just delegated more time from one as…

Just to add a piece to what others have said: Are you actually capable of keeping up with that weekly/semi-weekly schedule? Yes -- it's around 20-45 pages an update, but for traditional manga layout, that's around 6-8 panels a page. That's a lot of panels to draw. If you're not already doing 40…
Typically, some pain and discomfort is expected after you get your braces, which disappears with time and proper care. But there should've been something your dentist provided for the pain (such as dental wax or other pain relief). Do you have access to that? Right now, ice to help numb the pain w…
Hi ya'll -- Kinda noticed the thread was escalating just a bit, so I wanted to jump in and remind peeps to keep chill and vibe. If need be, there's never a wrong time to get up and come back to the convos at a later time or reread replies before sending. Don't wanna close the thread since mark…
A lot of the earlier magical girl series were light-hearted adventures, though back then, it was less about saving the world and more about the heroine working up the courage to confess to her love interest. I'd say dark themes have been pretty common before the recent stuff, Sailor Moon being a …
