AU drawing chain

I will try to have options for @liaroger (in case my suggestion sucks, now you don't only have one that sucks but many!)

• Setting change: draw them as 18th century French nobles
• Profession change: draw them as street food stall vendor/hawker, what they sell is up to you (whatever fits your character)
• Genre change: draw them as if they were children book characters, normal children playing pretend pirates
• Species change: draw them as flower pixies/small fairies doing pixie shit

My series is set in another planet majorly inhabited by humans who have magical ability (yet, the Earth exists too); think about your average urban fantasy or magical realism but with a little more confusion.

(You can guess who is from Earth and who are not)

(The wildlife is very unique, this is how an "average" whale looks like)

Maybe morbid, but I'm thinking maybe a bakery AU of sorts ? The character wearing orange with the eyeball motif speaks to me haha. There's a lot of fun aesthetic possibilities to play with.

Aw yeah ! These two are basically demons, they've got a magic system and live in an area that's having a rough, rapid transition from pre-industrialization to the smartphone age.

I'm currently working on my AU and I'm obsessed with HC-ing these characters as kids with a habit of getting into trouble now ...

• 80's AU (like Stranger Things or Victorian times)
• Animal Crossing AU (player characters or villagers)
• Rivals/Enemy AU (instead of lovers, they are rivals . . . who may become lovers later on, but they no, no, no, they are enemies now)

And here's my character, Uriel who is in a pokemon AU, but was originally drawn as magical girl AU...

I do not know if this counts as an AU (due to how similar it is to the original one) but everything non-canon can count as an AU
