I was planning tapas. I'd do webtoons too but it'll never get seen there. I'll just make a secondary series to showcase this.

Hi, autistic here.
This sounds like a great idea!
I don't mind a non-autistic taking the lead. You seem to genuinely want to do good, and hear and share our voices.

I have wanted for a long while to make a comic about my experience of being late diagnosed (I was 23), so I'll take this as a kick in the butt to get started!

There's a lot happening for me in February/March, but I'll do my best to get done for March 20th. I'll definitely keep an eye on this and share when the thing is done.

I would like to note for everyone I AM reaching out to an HFA parent group I'm apart of simply because I know some of those mom and Dads have creative kids. so we might see some new faces.

Perhaps you could turn on monetization and donate the money to a related charity. This would make it easier for people who are interested to donate to the cause as well.

Have you considered publishing it as a zine or something? Put up a gofundme, and with the money pay for printing, any bonus can go to a charity or to help schools specialized for young people with special needs, or something? It would give you exposure, give creators exposure, and give your project the chance to reach so many more people!

Not this year, we didn't decide to do this in time. We'd have to have everyone's done in a week or so from now. Maybe next year.

Yeah but Autism awareness day is April 2nd. I really want it done for that day this year. Again, I can see myself planning this for next year as well. So maybe for 2020. Plus I'm hoping to publish my own book by then so I might have a better idea by then how to do all that.

The thought matters a lot. My son is proud of his mind and how it works, he keeps positive. I know he has hard times though. I hope next year he can put it into his own words.

You could always do both the external links and Tapas Support!

You'd only have to get a screenshot or snap a picture of the revenue generated and the amount donated as evidence that you aren't keeping the money. If you use this method, you would be able to give the exact amount that your Supporters on Tapas have contributed and even write thank you messages. This would make your supporters feel as if they actually made a difference. Not everyone has funds to spare and I think they'd appreciate the option.
