The OG Power Rangers show was actually made by splicing together the original Japanese Sentai show with new American footage and dubbed over VO.
THIS. I watched the Sentai show in the late 80s, so when I saw Power Rangers(in the 90s) I was like "those un-original motherfuckers!"
