Best way to grow your following on tapas?

Hi! i'm very new to creating and promoting webcomics. I was wondering what are the best ways to gain subscribers and a following on this site? What do you guys think? Thanks!

Okay, so... I'm not top tier in terms of following, but I am closing on 3000 subs, so here's all the advice I can give on the best things to do for building readers.

Don't waste time on sub-for-sub. It's one of the least efficient ways to build an audience and will make it hard to get a clear picture of your comic's appeal and performance. Subcribe only to comics you actually like, post only on promo threads where nobody subs out of obligation. Remember: If your comic is worth reading, you don't need to pay people to read it; the entertainment they get should be enough. Focus more on promo threads where you talk about your comic, post works themed around genre or tropes, or especially ones where you post sample bits of it (so any thread that's like "share your cover!", "share your best page!", "share your funniest joke!" etc. is good)
Have a polished cover image with a face on it (you have this) and a matching banner (you also have this!) and clear typography in a nice font (you're pretty close, but the contrast on your text is a little low. Can you maybe make the stroke and text colour a little darker so it pops more?) Mostly, you're doing great here.
Post on a bunch of different social media regularly. Tiktok is one of the best right now.
Join the Tapas discord (if you haven't already) and participate in events to get noticed by the staff.
Keep going! It may take a while!

Hi! The way that I found best is to pick a date and update your finished chapter on then. That way, people know that your comic is active and you are a responsible comic artist, and are more than likely read your comic over time. Hope this helps!

You're close to 3000 subs!!! That's top tier in my books,

I'm just barley reaching 500 subs with my comedy series,

I always make it clear on what days I post new comics and keep to that schedule,
