diversity is always good
This is my updated cover and a page from the first issue.
In my comic Retro One of my 3 main/most important characters is black. Right now the story is heavily focusing on her and her backstory/mental state/how she became what she is. As for the other mains, One's supposed to be fully Japanese, and my other is Half Japanese half French. Though this story doesn't take place in our world necessarily, but I like using other languages and cultures for some things(makes it easier on my part).
My comic Welcome Back has this dude as one of the mains: He's a lucid dreamer who is stuck in the dream world where no one else knows they are dreaming except him.
And more diverse cast of characters
It's an old comic 2 part comic of mine that involves adventures in a dream land. It starts off very whimsical and turns slowly more dark and surreal over time.
As of right now i'm currently working on the concept to a new comic with a black lead. Takes place in a fictional universe. I post concept art on and off.
The lead singer in my fictional rock band Radio Silence is black, the keyboardist is half Cree, and their manager is Japanese. Diversity is a wonderful thing! : D
My comic Voidchild is in a way heavily centered around the african continent (and one country in particular, although that may not be readily apparent yet). Though the world is semi-fictional, so I don't know how that affects your preference. Aaand I'm hesitant to say too much because the story is still in it's early stages but you mentioned afro-ethnicity which is also a relevant topic for my main character. ^_^
Sorry to be so ambigious, comic is in it's way into a more descriptive phase about all this stuff so I'd love for readers to find out more for themselves. =P
This isn't a comic book, but a novel. It's book one of a series I'm planning, and I have characters from different backgrounds. I have Black, Asian, and Afro-mixed characters (Afro-Latinx, Afro-Islander.) Many of my characters are dark skin. As each book progresses, it each focuses on different characters (if that makes sense!) I hope you guys are willing to check it out!
