I know there are a few comics here that has different characters of different size, but I seldom see a heavier woman in a romance scenario. Many times, these romance series have petite women, which can be repetitive lately.

So, is there a romance with a curvy, thick, bbw, etc.?

Dumbing of Age has a whole variety of characters that have romantic arcs, some of which are curvy

I think that diversity of body types is important, which is one main theme and element in my story.
It's not really a comic, but a written story called "Hero's Dilemma", in which the main love interest is a plus-sized woman. (Also, she is a sorceress.)

I did make a brief comic of it, but it's only the first part of the first chapter (only 10 pages). (I'm not particularly good at making comics, which is why I write instead.)

A really beautiful retelling of the Little Mermaid! The protagonist is short and curvy!

I feel you here. I'm constantly looking for more stories with fat lady protagonist, and ones that don't shy away from romance and normalized interactions that aren't jokes for these characters give me joy. I found one that I really enjoyed on tapas called the steps in love: Steps in Love . It's a lovely read that made me smile often and totally feel in touch with the couples struggles and growing feelings.

This post came hella late, but if anyone has any other recommendations with fat lady leads, I'd love it know. In the mean time I will keep working on my comic in this dry dry desert.
