It depends on the program (or programme? lol). Like, for the longest time I enjoyed the The Office US more than The Office UK, but I had watched the US version first, so I was super biased. It's been years though, I may need to go back and watch the UK version, especially with subtitles XD. But I really do love shows from either country (Parks and Rec and Arrested Development, The IT Crowd and Peep Show, etc...). I haven't watched any recent shows from the US or UK though so I'm probably missing out :c.

Oh, and I'm an American, btw!! Should probably mention that.

Being from Northern England I will have to say British, Although some American comedy dose make me laugh, but a lot of it I don't quite get.

There's so much cross pollination that I'm not sure there's a difference any more. For example, Armando Iannucci, James Corden and John Oliver are now working in the US, and in return we get Reginald Hunter, Rich Hall and Katherine Ryan in the UK. (OK, the last one is Canadian really).

For me it's British. Back in the days I had somehow working cable TV channel full of comedy shows and there was an old british ones like Mr.Bean, Only fools and horses (my favourite of all times), Blackadder, something about policemen (I don't remember the name of it) and more.

or it could have been detectives with jasper carrot but that's much older.

I kind of like both though in the case of my webcomic, it takes place in London so it explores both mediums.
