Bubblehouse or artfol?

Hey! I saw a recent post about arfol and what people thought about it. Recently I c across another app that is in beta, you can download it from the apple app store from the link on their instagram. It looks to be the same sort of thing as artfol. It is trying to be a better place for artists to have a community.

I like it so far, I had to get it on my ipad since I don't have an apple phone, but I like it none the less. It has cool features for ways to showcase your work and ways to make your page personal to you. They have many options for effects on your posts, like a slider effect that can show your sketch and your finished piece together. It is cool!

I think I like it more that artfol and it seems to be smoother working than artfol. But I also know artfol is working with a small development group, so they could make it there soon too. Tell me your opinions!!!

I want to try Bubblehouse, but I only have android products I hear that they are going to be branching into android at some point though, so if that happens I will definitely check it out.

As far as Artfol goes, I have had great experience in the short time since it launched. I've gained a lot more interaction from fellow artists and made a lot more mutuals in that short time than I have being on Instagram for much longer. I've noticed a lot of people don't like Artfol because they can't gain traction, but the main issue I keep seeing is that they're not engaging with the community. That's where I've been growing a lot and making art friends. I've also had a lot more encouraging comments on my work just from talking in the community, whereas it's like pulling teeth on Instagram just to get someone to comment even with a prompt.

So true! I understand that. I am just curious if these things can really pick up as much traction as instagram can. Will there ever be enough artists on these new sites for us to actually grow on them?

Yes what about Pillowfort? I tried to make and account there, Suddenly there's a lot of new places to be D': I can't even grow in the ones that I am currently

Right now Pillowfort is down- they are fixing issues...they announced that they should be opening it back up on 4/29.

It's slow there for me, coz I have so many sites that I'm trying to keep up with I end up forgetting to post stuff there.

All these cool new spaces are making my head spin. I wanna jump on the bandwagon before they get oversaturated, but having to keep reposting my favourite works to different places can get tedious.

With how both apps are looking I'd say I'm looking forward to BubbleHouse entering the Android market. Artfol is super cute and well formed but it's hard to reach others on the platform.

I like the formatting of bubblehouse more so far. I'm definitely excited for it.
