Can someone explain Ink(sgiving?)

I'm not actually sure what ink is, does or amounts to? What does inksgiving do with ink, and why are people listing goals?

When reading someone elses comic/novel you can most likely see the option to "support" them and that is where you can support with ink

I think you need 250 subscribers or something to unlock ink support but during inksgiving I think they can open it up for those that asks for it?

Ppl are making goals to give something fun in return for getting ink

Ink is the currency on Tapas. Your readers can give you Ink which then turns into real money for you. How much Ink you need to get $1 varies depending on how the readers got the ink (they can either buy it with money or earn it by watching ads, etc.). Tapas also takes a few % of the money you earned.

But during Inksgiving, Tapas doesn't take any % of the money you earn, so everything goes directly to you! That's why this is such a big event each year.

If you join the tapas discord when they announce the unlocking of the ink support, you can leave the link to your profile there, wait a few days and you will be able to both receive and donate ink, even if you only have 20 subs. That will be soon.
