Hello Tapas Forum folks!
I'm Alex and I localize our Catopia University webcomic series. After 23 chapters, I wanted to formally introduce the Tapas forum community to our comic! The series was created as a collaboration between Supercolony and artist Nanhee as a way to further expand the world of Catopia. Supercolony developed a mobile game called Catopia: Rush and Catopia University serves as a prequel story. The comic was originally created in Korean and through a small team of talented individuals, I help localize it into English.
It's a lighthearted series full of funny faces but there's also a tenderness to it that I really try to bring out when localizing. Leon's story is really one about belonging and searching for his place in a strange world and I find it relatable. I've always enjoyed comics so it's been super fun for me to be a part of this, even if I'm really only a small part of the process.
