Chapters vs pages, Which way do you upload or perfer to read webcomics?

what is your upload style? do you upload an one page image or would you upload a chapters worth of images?

reason I ask is when I started I did one page images and thought a daily comic or bi-daily comic would be a good idea but it seems to be a popular style now-a-days to upload a whole chapter one day out of the week.

I think it's worth considering your format and they way you will tell the story. For example, our comic would not do as well if we only published 5 or 6 panels a day. In fact it'd outright SUCK.

Other comics, like slice of life, can do well with daily because the small chunks are entertaining on their own.

It's also worth considering sites like webtoon reward those that update less often by how their system works- so that effects things.

i like a balance of 2-8 pages per episode if theyre condensed together, 1 page at a time is kinda slow to scroll through and full chapters condensed together are kind of intimidating to me. atm i (try to) upload at 2 pages a week and i feel like my episodes have a good length.

Since I work on so many stories at the moment, I upload in single pages and try to fit in as much content as I can to progress my stories at a fairly fast pace. I also prefer to read in single pages as well.

I always do it chapter wise (15-25 pages)and prefer to read it that way too. Still, I understand and appreciate the hard work of all creators.

I think if your work is more complex and layered, longer, less frequent postings make sense. I started at twice a week but have recently dropped to once a week.
