Character questions and promos - love language edition!

First the question!
Obviously, what is your characters love language? Do they say it? do phsyical things? give gifts? What?

Kerren's love language is a mix of things. He often makes things for those he cares about, like food and the like. It'll be their favorite food too. Kerren also makes sure he knows their favorite for birthdays and make it special then too. But another part of his love language, after get past his walls, is physical touch. Kerren craves physical affection, but he's scared to let people in too much. So when they are let in, he often likes sitting there, cuddling with them, messing with their hair and the like.

love language, eh?

Julian's love language is hard to detect, since he tries to keep all of his emotions internalized. When he does show affection it's very physical. Even before he realizes he's attached he starts letting people touch him on the shoulder or cheek. Eventually it turns into a fierce desire to hold hands or be close enough to feel someone's body heat. He also subconsciously reaches for people in his sleep, and tends to curl up close to whoever is nearby.

Aw this is a sweet one!

Agony: "Um... uh... do you mean romantically? Cause if you do then uh, none. I don't really... do... that. If you mean platonically then, I don't know, insults? like how you can really say the worst stuff to someone if you're really close, you know?"

Thesis: "I never was really one for the theory of love languages. Though I suppose I appreciate a certain comfort with someone. Where you can be you inner most self without having to be overly worried about presentation."

Duenna: "Acts of service, is what I believe it would be called. Holding open a door, paying for dinner, you know, the gentlemanly things to do."

Motif (Whilst scratching his neck and turning red) : "Well, uh, Quality time. I like to be around somebody and goof around and shit if I you know, love them...

Oooo thats a good question!

Sage - He's a introvert and so he has a HARD time showing love. He usually go by the "I'm here if you need me" route. Loyal to the teeth he like to be around, listening your talk, lending a shoulder to cry, helping you with your crazy ideas and it's the guy you call to hide a body in the middle of night. Or helping you invade a heavily armed realm to find your brother after you betrayed him XD

Lisianthus - He is the mom friend. Will clean your messes at the same time he's telling how a idiot you are for falling for that stupid person or doing that stupid thing he said is stupid 10 times before. He's the one who remember everyone birthdays, but forgets his (he doesn't know, actually but yet, its his vibe). He shows love making sure you're ok, eating, having enough sleep and keeping yourself hydrated.

Victor is very transparent. If he likes someone, he'll let them know. If he likes someone a lot, he might write a poem about it.

Nicholas is more discreet. He himself doesn't have any problem with displaying affection, but there are external reasons to why he can't display it. So he comes across kinda cold. He can't let people know he loves someone. But it's noticeable by the way he treats them. He's usually a short tempered brute, but if he really cares about someone, he'll be very patient with them. He might even put his own life on the line for them.

In general (platonic not romantic way)

Liar: Very honest and expressive with his words and actions, touchy, loves hugs, he poures his heart no filter
Ira: Not verbally expressive or too blunt with his words but he will do nice things for the people he cares about
Caelis: He might be seem a bit aloof in general but hes caring and kind, delicate or subtle touches, hes careful with his words tho

Minor spoilers

Shyba:

Giving- Quality time, acts of service, and physical touch.

Receiving- Physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation.

He really enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones. Even if they are not actually doing an activity together, if they are in the same vicinity while doing their own thing he is very happy. He enjoys doing acts of service like making a cup of hot chocolate or giving Kiara massages while she is cramping each month. Hearing words of affirmations after years of trauma is soothing to him. Giving and receiving physical touch was a bit difficult for him to become comfortable with, but once he let down that wall he realized how touch starved he was.

Kiara:

Giving- Physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service.

Receiving- Physical touch, receiving gifts, acts of service, quality time.

She also quite enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and many times she is able to find what it is they need to hear, so she is good at giving words of affirmation. She enjoys receiving gifts and acts of service because to her it shows that the person is thinking of her and wants to show their affection in a tangible form, whether that be an actual gift or doing something special for her. She enjoys physical touch the most and during the time Shyba was uncomfortable with that she had to constantly keep herself in check.

Though he complains about it, Shinichi likes being of service to the people he likes. This would include cooking for them, cleaning for them, and just overall making sure they stay healthy. If he really likes the person, he wouldn't hesitate to say so. He can become very physically affectionate, liking to cuddle and just generally holding the other person and being close to them.

Irish is very physically affectionate, even if he just met the person. As long as they clicked together, he'd like them immediately and would be hugging them in an instant. Whenever he finds a girl he really likes, he'd shower them with gifts and compliments.

Platonically, Zero is pretty much the same with Irish. Her snark and sarcasm will also won't have as much bite and is usually accompanied with her smiling or laughing. She likes to do pranks on them (though this often goes too far) and isn't shy to show her childish side to them. But romantically, she'll become a blushing mess and can be a bit tongue tied.

Ohh nice! Here are the love languages of my two mains

Ira : Loves to give gifts to her loved ones. Gifts are the easiest way for her to show love but she also treasures having quality time and is very verbal with her affections.

Tristan: TOUCH. Touch is the biggest once for him. Cuddles, kisses, and more are his favorite. He also likes to cook and bake, thus acts of service is anyone.

Kovreil is very touchy feely with his fiancé Modrian and enjoys joking around with and teasing the people he likes. Generally, he'll try to stay in close proximity to Modrian and they're known to be practically inseparable. Since he has a lot on deep-seeded self-doubt and trauma (whoooo fun), words of encouragement and affirmation and, again, just staying together mean a lot to him.

Scruffy Dude
He's a total cuddlebug. He just wants to curl up and watch movies while snuggled with a lover on the couch, or he'll come up and wrap his arms around them and kiss them on the cheek. He also loves cooking, and he will pour his heart into making their favourite things if he's smitten.

The Merry Maiden
She really likes sharing activities she enjoys, exploring unvisited places, and just spending quality time with a lover. She's a lot softer, less guarded, and may even become a little flustered.

Glitch
She's ace, but when she wants to be good friends with you, she'll just hang around you a whole lot. If she considers you a super good friend, she'll do things like sit on your shoulders uninvited, drop her whole body weight into your arms without warning you first, or otherwise get all up into your personal bubble.

Boxer
Holding hands, leaning on his partner's shoulder, and patching said partner up when he does ridiculous daredevil stunts. (Boxer has long since stopped trying to convince said partner not to be crazy and reckless.)

Blues Scale
He likes physical touch, but tends to reserve it for special moments. He becomes protective of someone he's falling for. He'll look out for them, do little things for them, and want to spend a lot more time than usual with them.
