Hah well my comic is about influencers/content creators, and they're all semi-based off real creators/groups of creators (some of which are no longer in public favor) so just a few:

Avery is based of vlog/commentary YouTubers...unfortunately based off David Dobrik and Cody Ko (okay listen the character was written YEARS ago)

Marilyn not based off anyone particular but a general Gen Z beauty influencer

India based off Enya Umanzor (as a kind of indie fashion and internet personality)

Many more but I'll leave it at that...maybe you can try to guess who the characters are based off of as they appear in my comic, Blood Soda !

My main character Luca Vincenzo preference for suits was inspired by Sanji since he is a womanizer as well.

Gustavo Escobar is heavily inspired by Doflamingo in design as well

Marilyn Monroe is not a character but she inspired Mara's hair

Prince Char inspired giving Christopher George a traditionally masculine prince-like appearance

and I'm suspicious that Nick Wild may have subtly inspired me in Chili's design. Maybe a bit of Hobbes from "Calvin and Hobbes" too

Was just saying this in another one, but yeah, my main character and the story was heavily inspired by Batman. It’s my combination of it with my other great love, Fantasy (especially a la Lord of The Rings) and making her Latine like me, for a story that I always wanted to tell ^^

Does anybody else see Megan Follow's Anne of Green Gables?

It wasn't intentional, but i think she might have inspired young Therese

The way the isekai boys look completely identical is killing me:joy: (also fellow External Nocturnal disliker:kissing:)

Really depends. Some characters I have a theme for or inspiration.

Hiro Hinmoku
Hiro Hinmoku (blue girl below) I wanted to create a superhero suit out of a mimic/slime creature, but I didn't want it to look like armor. So I went with normal clothes and added a vizor to give it more of hero look plus leaving the face exposed just felt a bit off. It's not a glass vizor it's the slime/mimic substance solidified to form a glass like appearance.

Hair Style was based on Yumi from Code Lyoko

Cyan and Blood Parasite

Blood parasite I tried to give a unique appearance. I thought about his abilities which lead to me adding a ring around the body. As for body structure, since it was made from blood I thought it should look like a slime. I suddenly thought of slugma from pokemon and experimented with the head to give it my own touch. I thought about a cell/bacteria and made those attena from the head to symbolize that.

As for Cyan I was a bit inspired by Yuno from black clover in terms of hairstyle. In my story people have color words for names like Azure, Cyan, etc. So I made him wear blue, but he's also a wizard in training so I gave him wizard clothes of my own design after looking at many different styles.

(Left to Right ) Aniro, Den, Anaga

Aniro's personality is more gentle like gohan, deku, tanjiro, etc. So I associate him with green (those characters are associated with that color) and created combat attire similar to Deku's. All 3 were inspired by scrapped designs of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. I gave Den similar attire to scrapped Sasuke design with my own touches. A lot of rival characters wear blue, like vegeta, sasuke, Killua, Grey from fairytail so I associate Den with the color blue. Anaga I actually just experimented with many random designs. Her clan specializes in waves, so her outfit has rings/stripes to symbolize that. Some female characters are associated with red, like Erza, Sakura, Yoko from Gurren Lagan, etc. So I associate Anaga with the color red in terms of attire.

Bug man (transformation 1) inspired by beetle armor terraria.

Bug man (transformation 3) inspired by Cabuto One punchman.

Alise mcfive: inspired by Lina inverse

I did not think of those characters when I created Maor, but they really share a lot of similarities, such as they don't have strong personality, meek looking, reluctant young protagonists, and also suffers recent tragical incidents on their own.

Chihiro from Spirited Away (movie) & Giovanni from Night of the Galatic Railroad (movie).

OK, these might seem super random....

Ken's visual look was inspired by a mix of Hiten from Inuyasha and Momotaro. Tho his personality was based off of Naruto from the first arc.

Bertie was based off of Kakashi which might be more obvious when he wears his facemask.

When I first created Mr. Blueberry is was based off of Kinuta from Naruto. Tho his current design is more inspired by Corto Maltese

Astra is inspired by Disney's Cinderella, Disney's Rapunzel, She-Ra, Sailor Moon and Princess Leah.

Astra herself...

The ladies who inspired her...

Then there's Psychoborg. He was inspired by Goku, Superman, RoboCop, Man-at-Arms and Rambo.
Psychoborg himself...

THE MC OF VOLKERMORD, IS INSPIRED FROM A FEELING. A FEELING THAT I FEEL. A FEELING OF BEING USELESS, A FEELING TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING....... TO KNOW MORE, READ VOLKERMORD.

Inspired by a neighbor I had back in the mountains as a kid, I-na from 'Pop Out Boy" and Yooa from Oh My Girl lol

In a roundabout way, she is inspired by cinderella. I have an oc from a discontinued comic (that I hope to remake) who loved princesses and the color blue and only drew in monochrome, so this was a nod to him.

For the main character of Crescent Blue, Scamp's mainly inspired by two characters: Kid Goku from Dragon Ball and Scamp from Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure (its in the effing name lol)

Ive been too embarrassed to admit it in the past but I feel more comfortable saying it now especially after making this drawing

And thats really the only character I feel comfortable discussing the inspiration of.....for now

Design-wise, these two definitely inspired Lorenzo. Have I watched Gundam 0079 or Fooly Cooly? No. But I thought their designs would work well for a captain character.

Leon has Sailor Moon bangs. I thought the way they shape into a heart would suit him.

He intentionally styled them after his universe's version of Sailor Moon, who looks like this:

I didn't intend for this, but I think Roxie's personality was inspired partially by Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and, this is gonna be a deep cut, Anghel Higure from Hatoful Boyfriend, the bird dating sim.

From Pinkie Pie, she gets her general chipper, hyperactive personality, and like Anghel, she often roleplays as if she's in a fantasy setting whether others play along or not.

For "Maria the Vampire Princess," that would be Star Butterfly of "Star vs the Forces of Evil." It was originally going to be a mobile game I was tinkling with, until Disney put me off with seasons 3 and 4. Plus, it was a fun challenge in telling a story over each scenario I laid down before me.
