Episode18: The dexterous Dean West
At the bottom of "Milky Milk" skyscraper, stood Dean on the same day at 12 pm; looking up. Roger looks down from his own office: "Take him down!" He says at once over the phone, and then hangs up.
A man in his mid twenties walks over to Dean with a gun pointed at him out of the crowd, and started shooting with aimed bullets. Dean is alarmed by the gunfire and started running for his life; the man keeps following Dean, bumping into a pregnant woman; who just fell down on the sidewalk of the skyscraper's gate. She moans in agony as everyone in the scene has been collected around her, helping her out. The man keeps moving towards his own target with determination. Dean hides behind a 2004 Mitsubishi Fuso box truck as he was breathing harshly, grabbing his asthma inhaler from his jacket's inner pocket and inhales for five long seconds. He feels fresh again, yet he is still hiding. The man comes out of the scene and shoots at him at once; Dean drops the inhaler by accident: "Shit!" He picks it up instantly while trying to carefully dodge the attack.
He finally escapes, and then falls down in the mid of the street as a Lamborghini Urus bumps into him. The driver sticks his head out of the window: "Watch it! You airhead!" He yelled out.
The Shooter stood up out in the open and started approaching smoothly. Dean stood up quickly and started running; he reaches an inn. He enters the building in a rush, bumping into each person he encounters; as everyone panicks and started yelling. The receptionst reaches for the phone and dials 911 at once. Dean then goes to the second floor as he finds a vacant room open, with a Mexican housekeeper man cleaning it. He shuts the door at once: "Please don't hurt me!" The housekeeper says in a broken English accent with terror.
Dean exhales: "I won't! Just don't open the door, ok?" He said slowly as the housekeeper nods quickly.
Two minutes later, the shooter breaks into the room with his left leg as there was no one but the housekeeper: "Where is he?!" The shooter point the gun at the housekeeper.
The housekeeper looks at the bathroom hesitantly as the shooter opens the bathroom's door slowly. Dean comes out at once, attacking the shooter with a pillow and landing him on the floor. He takes the gun with dexterity from him and stands up, pointing it directly at him: "Roger Payne has paid you for this, didn't he?!"
The man chickens out while lying on the floor: "Yes!"
Dean decides not to shoot him as the man tries to get up slowly and secretly reaches into his breast pocket, trying to pull out a knife. Dean shoots him at once in the head, as the blood has spread everywhere.
