I am so glad you liked it and found it funny. Thanks for pointing out the dialogue, I haven't even thought about that, I just try to make their personalities unquie, but they probably do have too similiar speech patterns. That is something to work onl
Yeah some of the art is intentional as I was originally going for a Sunday morning comic strip vibe, kind of like the Peanuts which is all 2D basically if you look at a lot. As I got more serial in nature I realized the Peanut style wasn't going to cover everything. I started working on adding some depth, and I just improved a little bit on the digital tools. You are just starting to see that in the last few posts, but it is really picking up in a couple that haven't posted yet. I am figuring better inking, straighter lines etc.
But a big part of it is just still lack of drawing talent. I had trouble making the characters the same from panel to panel, or even landing on a look I was happy with. But I really wanted to start posting so I did. I also basically refused to cut and paste, not because I am against it, but I need all the practise I can get. So I redraw every panel. Sometimes I cave and paste one in, but that is after first drawing it new.
After I land on my characters and get my line work figured out, I am going to work on lighting and better coloring and a bit of shading, but that is pretty far down the road.
