Chibi style or Shoujo style? Which is better?

I am new to creating webcomics. I can't decide which one to draw my characters as. Chibi style or Shoujo style? Which style is better or more common in webcomics? Does it depend on the genre of comic also? Help?

I like shoujo style with chibi scenes (panels during humor). But that’s my personal preference.

I think it depends on your story. If you're going for a light, funny romance or fantasy, it's best to go chibi style because it adds to the cuteness factor But if it's a more serious plot with some drama going on (especially if it's a slow burn), then I recommend shoujo style!

if you are going for horror, definitely use chibi... its creeper that way

I recommend you chibi for animals :3
and shoujo could be better than chibi if your characters are humans, I think here on Tapas a stylized artstyle works for this one, but it depends too about story, it would be randomness? or a structured story? it depends
