(CLOSED) Collaboration (Artist Looking for a writer)

Hey!

I'm an illustrator and I want to create webtoon. I was looking for a collaboration with a writer (even
if you aren't I'm also cool with just talking about writing and stuff)

► I'm looking for a short story/stories, and I'm comfortable with almost everything as long as the characters are interesting,
• I enjoy mystery/thriller, slice of life, action/fight, romance (it can be sweet but please not too cheesy) etc.
• I'm not really into drawing SF, superhero stuff and NSFW (unless it's reaaally necessary to the plot)

Like I said in the title, it's for free, this is a collaboration so we can both improve, I'm obviously going to put your name in the credits and I want to be clear if there's any issues I'm open to talk about it any time!

I LOVE visual novel and narrative video game so it also can be a source of inspiration (Life is Strange, higurashi no naku koro ni, Ace Attorney : Phoenix Wright, Hotel Dusk, etc)

AHHHH I love your style, and we like all the same comics! I'm a writer who reads webcomics/manga obsessively. I'm a bit new to Tapas, and I tossed my link at the bottom if you're curious. Can you tell a little more about what you're looking for from a writer? Do you want someone that already has a short story plot or script? Do you want to stick to modern day, or are you open to different worlds/times? Scroll or page releases? Do you want to handle marketing or let the writer do it? I'd be interested to chat!

It would be great if you already have a script but I'm also okay if you have a draft or want to create a new one
I'm comfortable with modern days, but if you want a historical setting (or something fantastic), I can do it, I'm just going to need some references etc
I have no preferences for the format (scroll or pages), whatever fits better with the story or the storyboard!
I have no idea what's the marketing parts implies aha but I can help if it include some kind of illustrations (I can also draw chibis btw)!
I'm also new to Tapas, I guess there's to talk DM here?

I know you might have already found a writer since you have closed this request. But I had a story concept I am dying to make into a webcomic. I wanted to submit it to the 2020 Webtoon Short Story contest and will be willing to equally split any winnings. I write short stories as a hobby and this will be my first time working on a comic. I REALLY love your art style and it is PERFECT for the story I have been working on. My story is tragic with hints of romance, but it can also be considered a bit of a thriller.
