It’s just a bunch of fictional letters I smashed together in semi random order to make it look like a real language. I didn’t want to create a conlang, but I also did not want to write everything in English or French or whatever, since it is a minor plot point that the characters are not speaking a language of this world.

Some of the shapes of the letters are loosely based on braille, mostly by the idea that the letters should be easily recognisable by swiping your fingers on them, since the alphabet was meant originally to be used by an underground civilisation with limited access to light.

Creature design for "Ashes Awaken".

I originally came up with the design when "Ashes Awaken" was originally titled "Havenfall"... and I really liked the exoskeletal concept plus the blue tusks. This is the first time I'm truly getting to explore the creature's habits and abilities.

I feel like the hyper realistic lily on Juno compared to the sketchier flower on Yves somehow shows off their personalities more I haven’t read your story yet but I’m getting the vibe Juno is more emotionally mature where Yves mind is still struggling to sketch out logic things to do i feel you Yves lol

heheh he’s adorable, and his character development is sooo good but that’s just me, i don't really know what anyone else thinks… but yeah, he’s amazing and super important to the story like, if he didn’t exist, it’d be so different. I mean, every character matters in their own way, but Yves is kinda like… the catalyst from the very beginning, you know? honestly I could talk about him forever lmao

@kokichiluvr lol I think he’s adorable too don’t worry I also love talking about my characters! But I totally get that vibe from him too, I feel like because he’s way heart over mind he ends up not choosing the best decisions but the impulsiveness allows the story to move along! If he was more reserved he wouldn’t take as much action, sometimes we need those kind of bad decision makers to move the story along, but don’t get it wrong, Yves has his heart in right place

(I should probably read your story but I’m so bad at keeping up with webnovels djkdkd I’m struggling to keep up with just the webcomics I’m following and I’m only following a few )

Here are the main two protagonists, Antonio and Emily~! They will be appearing in the comic in just a couple of weeks. A page per week is slow, but at least it's consistant XD~!

Yesss he's totally like that!! And it's okay don't worry about not reading it!! I know it's tiring to read novels, comics are much friendlier and fun to read, so I'll make the comic version soon when I decide how to do it and all that, but the novel is great bc you can actually read how they think so idk I'll figure it out later but I'm kinda lazy tbh, bue yeah I'm gonna be on vacation now so I have a lot of free time so I hope I actually get it done AND I think chapter 1 is one of the best I have, and there's a lot of Yves content so... 10/10 XD jk, it is kinda long (like two chapters in one) but I meant it to be kinda like a pilot? and so readers can empathize with Juno and like Yves
