Comic lettering/speech bubble program?

Hello! Anyone know any apps or programs that have comic lettering/ speech bubbles available? I currently use Comic Draw for the IPad Pro. But I’m wondering if they are more which aren’t too pricy. I like the effect of two speech bubbles connected with a line i between but I don’t think comic draw has that option.

I just do all my comic work in google slides, where I draw them myself.

medibang paint is a good candidate and free plus if you sign up for a medibang cloud account (also free) you get access additional comic materials like more detailed speech bubbles other panel materials and screentones/backgrounds

Seconded ! Medibang is super strong for free, and I really enjoyed working in it before I switched to CSP primarily.

By using the snap guides along the top of the editing screen, you can make speech bubbles pretty easily. I actually prefer MBP's speech bubble & lettering over CSP's.

You just have to make sure that you turn off "Cloud Rendering" in Medibang, because otherwise you may struggle to access fonts that you have installed on your computer.

Try Procreate. Only a one-time payment of $10...I've been seeing videos of some pro letterers(from Comicraft) doing lettering in Procreate on iPad.

I use photoshop for all of my art, including bubbles and text, but I guess that's not very helpful if you're looking for a cheap option.

Photoshop can only be gotten under a subscription from Adobe(I have it); you can get it under the Lightroom plan for $10/monthly- that starts to add up($120.00/yearly). Since I've been getting better at using Clip Studio's other features, I may end up letting my PS subscription go when it is time to renew...if you can get a hold of an older [p*r*te] version of PS, you might wanna do that; not big on the newest updates to Photoshop.

NOTE: It doesn't even have to be just Comicraft brand fonts; you can load the choice of font you have...but like I always say in general- make sure your choice of font "fits" your work.

I personally draw comic bubles in Paint Tool Sai, the same program I use to draw my whole comic. And put letters in Photoshop. I also recommend making your own font. I did that and it gives more personality to comic and you don't have to worry about licenses.
