@jcmraz I've just read all the episodes you currently have available. I'm really impressed with the way you set up the lore in your story so far. You did a great job with establishing that the world isn't a safe place, and that humans are confined to pockets of safe areas. You also quite nicely set up the premise that there are people called Runners, and that our protagonist is an impulsive and spontaneous character who is training to be a Runner.

I really like your main character Elliot a lot actually, she is spunky and determined, great qualities to have in a main character. Though you could stand to have Atty mention her name more. Elliot says Atty a lot, and that makes his name memorable, while Atty has mentioned Elliot's name a grand total of once in 45 episodes. The comic has actually mentioned Garrett's name more times than it did Elliot.

Action-wise and story-wise, your comic is great! I love the whole fight with the worm, and you did a great job capturing the play-by-play on the fight. I am very interested in those power gauntlets they use, and hope to see more of them in action soon. I am also intrigued by that ominous glimpse that Elliot got from the message.

@lauragarcia511 Okay, so I've just read all your episodes so far for Knights of Geomora. I have to say, the whole dynamic of Sara's family is actually very interesting to read about. Your comic kind of reminds me of an awesome episode from The Loud House, one where they introduce the large family of Ronnie Anne Santiago, a latina character in the show. I also appreciate that the animal-based characters are interspersed with the fully human-looking characters, but everyone still treats and talks to each other normally despite the vastly different appearances. It really drives home that mixed family feel, which I adore.

Story-wise, I like that you have an engaging mystery with regards to Sara's late great grandpa, but I can't help but feel like you've maybe focused a little too much on the family dynamic and problems, and not enough on the motivation aspect of the story. You did a good job setting the mystery up, and I'm glad that Sara is getting on with the adventure, but you haven't quite shown WHY Sara cares about the mysterious item they want to find. I understand she's unhappy with the move, and with her arguments with her big brother, but how does that translate to "I want to find this mysterious object my late great grandpa hid in my talking bag"? I hope you address that in a future episode.

Other than that, I really like your story! I subbed and left a comment too, and I hope to read more from you soon!

First of all, I love your art style! It's very painterly, but still clear and detailed. I like your color palette, and your lighting is pretty good too!

Story-wise, you seem to have an interesting story planned out. You did a really good job in making me curious about the faemen, the deities, the king, and the angels. I'm looking forward to the dynamics of each of those factions, and also their interaction with all the other factions. You've already revealed that the angels are supposed to kill the deities, and now this firstborn character Kefkel is plotting something and has recruited this angel. It's all very intruiging.

My main gripe is about your main character. He's a troubled character who seems like he can't control his powers, and that makes him very interesting. That makes me want to root for your main character, except I don't know what to call him at all. You haven't named him yet. I look forward to finding out his name in your future updates!

Thanks for reading mine! I've read all your episodes so far for Full Moon King too! I subbed to both the Webtoons and the Tapas version, so I'll definitely get notified when you update next. I also left a comment on your Webtoons one.

Art-wise, I like the black and white with a splash of color that you used in many of the pages. It's striking and stark. There's a bit of inconsistency with regards to when you use them though. Some of your flashback pages were in full color, while some were in black and white. You might want to limit the full color to present day and the black and white pages to flashbacks, just so the reader can better understand when a scene is a flashback and when a scene is present day.

Story-wise, it's an interesting start! A prologue for your character's tragic past. You did a good job in making me curious about what this weakness is that your main character's dad was looking for. I'm sure you'll reveal it eventually, of course!

Other than that, you didn't really reveal much about your character, so I dunno what kind of character he'll be or even his name. Is he gonna be a bitter man, an evil man, a depressed man, a righteous man, a coward? Is he out for revenge, for justice? Is he running from his past or looking for answers to it?

I did the full color for the first few pages due to it being the start of the book. Most of the chapters will be black and white with splashes of color unless it is an important scene or a new chapter/book. I'm kinda doing it like the reg mangas that start in color and switch to black and white. I'm working on a smooth way to show flashback vs present day (It's a minor kink in the story flow trying hard to fix it in the future).

Silver has quite the past you'll learn. His kind of a mix of those things just depends on the situation he is in. I'm trying to update a min of once a month, but my goal it to work up to once a week. It kinda depends on my artist schedule (she does the drawing and full color. I write and do the splashes of color) and depends on my funds (I pay an editor and my artist).

@arayakim Your comic looks fantastic so far! I would like/comment on Webtoons if I had an account there.

The art style, especially the linework and bold pallette, are perfect for a superhero comic. Superhero comics also are the perfect opportunity to draw really dynamic and expressive poses, and you've done that well. My favourite poses that stood out to me were the ones both heroes have in episode four.

I really like how cheeky and boisterous Rabbit Boy's dialogue is (or just his character in general). The "villanous boyfriend" bit was hilarious. And speaking of villains, I agree with Rabbit Boy, Baleful Bloodarm is an epic name for a supervillian!

Overall, really nicely done and I'm glad you are getting the recognition you deserve!

The Cursed Vermeulen | Tapas

Hey, just read through Rabbit Boy, loving it so far. I think you have a good balance of character moments, world-building, and plot progression, and they all fit together pretty well. I'm especially intrigued by the two-souls-one-body vibe of the "power cores," and the idea of cities with guarded borders. Seems like an interesting world, and I'm genuinely looking forward to what happens next.

One thing I think could be improved is the facial expressions. The poses are dynamic, but sometimes the characters hold the same expression for several consecutive panels which makes them feel a bit static. And when the expressions do change, they aren't pushed very far, and in particular I think growing or shrinking the irises/pupils to fit the expression would go a long way. (Really small for fear/shock, really big for that cute n' cuddly look) Hope that helps, and congrats on getting to number 1!

My comic is very slow-paced and up to 51 pages as of today, so don't feel the need to read through all of it. But any feedback or tips would be much appreciated!

So I've read every episode you have so far for the Cursed Vermeulen! It's a really interesting start! The concept of a cursed painting that gets updated every 100 years is actually really fascinating, especially for artists like us. You kind of spoiled the story with your character sheet on Reed though, because now we know this is the same painter that disappeared a long time ago. You probably should have saved it to be revealed in the comic itself. Art-wise, the comic is pretty solid and I like it! Maybe adding shadows on the characters themselves could work if you were looking to add some depth to your artwork without changing your style. Anyway, that's about it! I subbed, and am looking forward to the next episode soon!

I'm so sorry it took me so long to reply! I got a little swamped with work and my own comic that I forgot to check the thread!

I just finished reading the entirety of your comic, Far-Star Summer School! Art wise, I like your art! It has that traditionally-drawn feel, despite being inked and colored digitally in the later chapters. In terms of dialogue though, the earlier pages were quite hard to read due to it being handwritten in pencil. I'm glad that you slowly transitioned to the inked writing, and then to the computerized font, because it vastly improved your comic's readabilitiy!

Story-wise, I really like the concept of a supernatural summer school, and the way you set it up is really nice! I like that there's a coven of witches overseeing the school, and that they don't necessarily have to get along with each other all the time. You also did a good job showing that your younger characters have quite varied personalities, which I really love! I do think that your story sort of follows too many characters at once now, and I wish you would have them mention each other's names more, the way you did in the earlier episodes. It helps the reader remember which character is which, especially since your characters have unusual names like Kairuwo, Astaire, Primrose, Leecha, Grimilde, etc.

That's about it! I subscribed to your story! I'm looking forward to what happens next, especially this newest development with the missing kid.
