Thank you, I appreciate that. I'll definitely do my best and be more mindful about it in the future. This was my bad.
This thread is amazing. Everybody's art is so good!
Hairy Potter and the Curtiss F8C-4.
Yeah, okay, I can see that. I should probably just delete the initial post then. I never set out to piss anyone off, but if that's what I'm doing by accident, best to end it right here before it spirals out of control.
What is it exactly that you want me to do? Apologize? I'm sorry, I really am. Did I even mention that not one of you care about your legacies? I didn't, I don't know where you think I did. I said not a lot, I didn't say no one else did. I just shared what I was thinking of and feeling at the tim…
I think a view is counted when a unique visitor stays for a set amount of time or scrolls for a set amount of distance. I don't think it's just every time an episode is accessed, otherwise refreshing your own pages a bunch of times would give everyone a ton of views.
Less the comic making itself, more the obsession with building a lasting legacy with it. I think a lot of people make comics with the express intention of telling a story, but not a lot really care if it's under their name, or have their entire story planned out. Those are the things I care about wi…
To be honest, I'm far more concerned with making my character names memorable rather than conforming it to my audience's naming traditions. I don't particularly mind if a character is named John Smith or if he's named Sayidh El Machismo the Fourth Twice Removed. Just as long as everyone else in the …
I do, but I haven't really posted any updates here aside from the first episode.
I'm arayakim, the creator of "The Remarkable Rabbit Boy". I really only draw The Remarkable Rabbit Boy related panels, but lately I've also done a couple of V-tuber pieces. This is the piece I drew just now: [image]
I'm arayakim, the creator of The Remarkable Rabbit Boy. Here's the first page I ever drew for The Remarakble Rabbit Boy: [image] vs Some panels from my most recent episode: [image] [image] [image]
As an artist, I try to stay away from real world politics, but mostly because my comic the Remarkable Rabbit Boy doesn't take place in this world. The story will eventually have some sort of politics involved, but as it is right now, that won't be for a long time. Plus, even though I have prett…
@paintedbynick So I just read all of your episodes for Merry Monday. I liked all of them, rated 10, and subbed too because for sure your comic deserved it !! I also left a comment in the Webtoons one! I absolutely love your sense of humor! Some of your episodes legit had me clutching my side and had…
Thank you! I appreciate you saying that !
@fortunusgames It is, but I haven't really updated the Tapas one since the first episode here. The webtoons one has a lot more episodes.
@fortunusgames What an interesting peek into the kind of living in early 1900s New York. I subscribed, and I'm excited to read more about Sam Abramov as he grows up
Thank you, @katiemcguire! That is good to know!
"I'm almost 6 feet tall." "And by 'almost', you mean..." "5'8" [image]
Thank you, it helped!
Hi there, I'm a comic artist fairly new to Tapas, and am a lot more active in Webtoons than here. Sorry about asking on this Novel thread, but I just had to ask: Is there a Tapas Premium for comic creators too? What are the requirements for comic creators to get into Tapas Premium? Does the comic…
Just letting you guys know that for the LINE Webtoon option, it's cutting the files to 800x1000 instead of 800x1280.
I'm the creator of "The Remarkable Rabbit Boy" The way I name my characters is pretty simple, and pretty much based on their "thing". That is, the thing that basically defines them as a character. Rabbit Boy - The main character, a 12 year old boy with rabbit ears, who has powerful legs and c…
My comic is called "The Remarkable Rabbit Boy" This is the very first page I ever drew for Rabbit Boy, way back in 2013 [image] vs Some panels from my latest episode: [image] [image] [image]
Thank you so much for reading it and subscribing !
Thanks! I really appreciate you reading it
@Arieso_Here So your work is more of a novel start than a comic! I read all of it and subscribed! First off, I really like that you frequently mention your main character's name, Riana's, because that makes it a lot easier for readers to remember her. Readability-wise, your font is a little h…
Sure thing! And as for focusing on tapas right now, that's cool too! I'm a lot more active on Webtoons, but I do have a Tapas account too because I liked some of the stories here :D. Plus, it's nice to have a forum where I can meet other webcomic creators
@alextsarace Your story has a really good start! It's really well-made! I'm actually surprised that I'm the first subscriber on Webtoons! I left a comment there btw, and liked all your episodes! I love the prologue, the premise of Harmony leaving the world and leaving behind four elements, as w…
I've just read your comic, Double Crimson, and I I subscribed so that I get notified when you update next! I also left a comment on Webtoons! First off, your comic is really fun! I really like the premise of a broke Demon Hunter. I also like that Aki has a short, memorable name, and that you had h…
@mroverlord So I read your comic Mr. Ink and subbed! Art-wise, I could definitely see the improvement over the episodes you put out. While your art style isn't super detailed right now, I could tell you were definitely aiming to improve, and I respect that a lot! I think you could do with putting …
