Comic Rocket Question About Claiming a Page

A lot of my work seems to be being listed on here but I have no idea how to "claim" it? It seems to require some programming skills to embed something on a page to verify? A bit over my head I'm afraid. Any ideas? And is Comic Rocket useful in general for getting attention?

First, figure out which site it's actually hosted on. Comic Rocket is just a frame around the actual comic site. If it's hosted on Smack Jeeves, for instance, you can claim your comic by added a small bit of code to the "Overall Layout" section in your comic site code. If it's on Comic Fury...well, good luck. You basically can't claim it there because they use a PM system to claim Comic Fury comics, and they don't seem to ever check their PMs?

Comic Rocket does have some advertising options that I've had moderate success with, and I subscribe to a bunch of comics listed there because it saves your place so it's pretty nice for staying caught up.

Ah thanks I still have no idea how to add code though?! Is it as sample as copying and pasting something? If so, where? Probably daft questions but I have no idea! Thanks!

huh i was wondering why my comic on comic fury wouldnt get claimed and I was sure I had sent a PM. thanks for the info

That depends on what site you're hosting the comic on. Is it self-hosted? (Wordpress, etc). Is it on Comic Fury, Smack Jeeves, Comic Genesis, etc? Any of those? Or here on Tapastic? (I'm really not sure about adding Tapastic comics and I kind of doubt it would work? Might need to experiment with this.)

To the best of our knowledge, since your can't edit the script at Tapastic, you can't make Comic Rocket work.

I've noticed a lot of referral traffic from comicrocket showing up when I'm looking through ads to bid on at Project Wonderful, so it's probably worth being hooked up with in some way or another. It draws The Beard from The Duck. I don't recall setting that up though. Not sure how it happened.
