Comic series in multiple languages?

I've always been tempted to translate my comic series in French, but I wasn't sure if it was really worth it. However, it seems 2 years ago I did translate the first chapter. Don't remember doing it, but apparently I did.

Does anybody have their comics available in French or in multiple languages on Tapas?
Do you think it's worth it?

I made my comic in English and Chinese. But there's rarely any Chinese readers would view and comment in Tapas so i don't include it. I post them on ComicFury as a base though.

@allenT Thanks for replying. I'm on the fence about uploading it in French. I already have it in English. Maybe I just upload the first chapter and see how it goes. If it ends up like yours, where there's rarely any comments or subscribers, I'll just remove it from Tapas.

It's pretty common to see comics in Spanish around Tapas. I've also seen French comics every once a while. So I'd say it might worth seeing there's only one French webtoon site around, Delitoon. There might be more site now since I checked a few years ago.

My german comics can´t be translated into another language because they are based on poems that I write for the comic. I write my other comic pages in english and I´m not planning to translate them to german. I´m working on one comic with my brother at the moment and it will also only be in german because it plays in the medieval times in our hometown and it doesn´t make sense to translate that into english

Yes, I completely understand where you're coming from. I sometimes have to translate taglines at work into French, but it doesn't work, because it's a play on words in English and just sounds weird in French. So, I end up having to create a brand new tagline that might work in that theme.
I think it won't be much of a problem for my series though.So far, I think there's only two sentences that needed to be tweaked. My only downfall is that my French Canadian might get mixed in with French Acadian and I won't even know it.
Might just make it a bit more cultured. haha!

I translated Effy in Chinese and French. I post the French version on Webtoon/fr, English on Tapas/own site, Chinese... nowhere yet, because translation pace is longer. If I do post it, it’ll be on Chinese platform directly I guess.
I’ve come across other creators doing like that, with English version on tapas, French version on webtoon/fr or mangadraft (not limited to manga).

I'm not sure if tapas has any ru speaking audience so....

They probably do have some Russian readers. Just like there's French ones, but it's hard to tell when you can't find many series in other languages than English.

Post original russian version on the only russian site about webcomics that I'm aware of, and english translation on the official site of the comic and here on tapas.

I have mine posted in English and Japanese. (Though the Japanese translation is on a hiatus.) I post them both here and on Webtoons, and there is very little interaction/interest. I think posting in other languages would be more impactful on websites that feature those languages.
