Comic tutorials you want to see?

Hello~ At around this time of the year I like to give back somehow, but I've already done quite a few "draw your oc" threads and the like. So this time I was thinking I could start a series of tutorials!

I'm not an expert of course, but maybe they could help. At the very least it'll be useful for me to learn new things or review older information. Also, any tutorial I do would just be a suggestion on how to solve a problem and it wouldn't be the "right way" to approach comics at all. Actually, I think it'd be pretty cool if others also joined in on the tutorials.

Any suggestions on some topics I could do? I'm open to everything, but art stuff is where I perform best. I also don't mind if its something related to webtoon formatting, clip studio paint (or other), or anything really.

I'd also think it'd be a good idea if I can do a "case-study" for the tutorials so I can demonstrate practically how to do something. Feel free to use something from your own work as an example, but if you don't want to you can dig through any of my stuff to use. I suggest my first comic Axis since its longer and has a lot of "problems" lets say.

Maybe something about pacing? It changes a lot from normal to scroll comic and it could be useful for people who spend too much time struggling at the start of a new page.

I think keeping flow in a vertical comic is a big one I've been looking into a lot lately. Guiding the eye and maintaining a gentle passage of time is something we have a lot of resources on when it comes to page format, since page format has been around for over 100 years, but scroll format is still so new that it feels like it's still a very experimental territory, and getting that flow to feel interesting and exciting is hard since we don't have all that history to lean back on.

Doing things like action layouts in vertical comics, keeping interest in slow talking scenes in vertical comics--keeping that feeling fresh and thrilling is a whole different wheelhouse than it was for when you could fit more panels side by side. So, overall, it would be neat to see a tutorial that talks about different things people have done in vertical comics to keep it unique and fresh and still vertical with only one or two panels visible at a time. Essentially, how can you make a vertical comic look like a comic and access the power of a comic instead of feeling like you're reading a storyboard?

Yeah looks like people really want help with vertical scrolling techniques for pacing and layout. Since its relatively new its sort of like we're all just trying to figure it out. I already have a few ideas so I'll plan something out~

I would like to see more thumbnail tutorials. All the good art in the would can't save a bad thumbnail.

Would also like to here more about teaching new comic book artists how to leave room on top of there panels for word bubbles and the character limits of each bubble. I had to learn this when doing comics.
