Comic/webtoon and novel hybrid format series advice?

Hello! My series is a webtoon, but has extra stories that are written as chapters of a novel.

Does anyone else have a hybrid series like this? If you don’t, I'd still like advice about providing the best reading experience. The extra chapters are posted on my webtoon blog, and announced on my webtoon as episodes, with the links to the stories in the author comments. Are these links easy to notice, or can they get overlooked and distract from the reading experience? Posted the link to show how I've integrated the formats.

I wanted to integrate the webtoon episodes and the extra chapters, and point to the blog as a source of extra content.

The other option I considered was to replace those announcements with images that have the text of the chapters on them if I can’t just paste the text directly into an episode like you can with a novel. Would this be a better way to integrate them, or would you find the shift in formats distracting and think it’d be better to post the extra chapters as a novel spin-off?

I sorta have a hybrid. My novel is the main player, but I have some extras and mini-stories that are actually in comic format (minicomics! :D). I share your dilemmia a bit, though I left the novel for what it is and leave the spicy extra to the webcomic so I can hoard more readers hopefully. XD

I think how you're doing it isnt too bad either, but I find it so difficult to give you a direction. Maybe it could be one big illustration and then you put the text over it perhaps?

Thanks for your feedback! I decided that I’d post the extra chapters as a separate series, like you do for your comic. I think that might improve my reach with the extra stories, and would be easier.
