My comic is a psychological horror drama about a mosquito cult. It's a look into family dynamics and relationships as well as how abusers convince you to stay.

I haven't made much progress yet, but my comic is about a guy who's choosing to be homeless.
I consider it not commercially viable because it will get openly critical of work and standard modern life, and I'm just bracing for the possibility of being cancelled for 'romanticizing homelessness' XD (I hopefully don't get too preachy though )

My comic definitely has some bizarre twists that actually turn out to be historically and biblically-based. My comic is also traditionally drawn adding another unique spin. Less commercial comics are a perfect fit for the Fresh category on Tapas.

Mine is an action-comedy (with a bit of an adult angle) about a group of ninjas in a modern post-industrial European setting.
Not sure if this really counts or not, but my partner and I's first proper comic is an original fairytale for our fantasy setting! We decided to go with an all narration style telling, rather than having dialogue and traditional scene-by-scene story telling. It's supposed to feel more like a myth basically.
We might do a few more of these since there are other deities and important figures in our world that we'd just like the excuse to talk about without dedicating a full in-depth script/100s pages to. Permafrost, the story linked below, is basically about a time in history where the God of Winter suddenly vanished, and a growing blizzard began to engulf the world in his absence. We only just posted the first chapter (and this is my first post in the forums) but I hope it hits close to something a bit more unusual!
