I need a cover for my novel called Nude Pictures. It's about this boy named Shawn whose trying to make amends with his ex, Sebastian, but he acts like a douche to the point where Sebastian just randomly sends a nude picture of Shawn to the whole school! What I want the cover to be is Shawn (MC) to cover his private part (or censor doesn't matter lol) while Sebastian is back to back with him. I want them glaring at each other, Shawn is angry while Sebastian has a smug. Sebastian's arms are crossed, and has a phone in one hand. Sebastian's style is a jock while Shawn's a peitite boy (since he's an uke) I don't care about the background. Doesn't matter what time you send the cover. It will upload in October anyway, but this will close in late September. Good luck and thanks!

sounds interesting did u have any specific descriptions on what these characters looked like for facial characteristics and such eg hair colour freckles etc

I would not bother with this individual since they make false promises of payment. I created some art work for them (they used it too) and they have not replied to any of my messages or bothered to pay me. Very annoying as art takes time and said it was a paid job. Just advising you.

Honestly id be willing to do this job for free, so long as Im able to put whatever I draw into my portfolio and if people become interested in this persons novel then I hope that this creator will give me the art credit for what I do if any of that makes sense.

Obviously If this person says they will pay me then I hope they do however if they dont Im not any worse for it.

Is it necessary to encourage this behavior? There are enough people on this forum who honestly write that they cannot pay for the work. I do not know this person. Maybe they really pay for the job. But there are many others who want to get free art. When you promise payment, you expect that more professional artists who don’t draw for free will respond to your offer.

Of course im not encouraging that people lie about whether or not they will pay, thats not the point i was trying to make, im sorry if i confused you or i didn't put it in a way that made sense (im not to good at explaining myself) the point i was trying to make is I want to get paid for my work if i am told that i will however if i am told i wont be paid then i will likely still do the job as i find drawing and creating fun thats it. I dont care about pay i get money from my job and i draw stuff for people for my own amusement getting paid is just a bonus and i dont care if i dont get that bonus. oh and just because someone is offering to work for free that doesn't mean that they aren't as good as a professional artist in some case the only difference is their styles of art and the fact that the professionals just ask for money thats it now im not saying im as good as a professional artist, nowhere near, however i have friends and family who in some case are just as good as some pro's and actually dont sell their art. Just wanted to clarify myself and explain im sorry if you were offended by anything i say for one reason or another.

I did not write that professionals draw better. Although it is often so, because professionals spend a lot of time improving their skills.
I just think that job offers should be clear. Paid or unpaid. Beginning freelance artists, when they start work, have a lot of problems with such offers.
I am not one of those artists who believe that payment should always be fair and high, as in the United States or Western Europe. Different countries have different salaries, and private customers usually cannot pay artists as much as large companies. But you can be honest when you work with people.
