happy new year, everyone!
a few months ago, i created a topic titled "bye for now, and sorry", wherein I threw in the towel for doing anything relating to art and comics. at the time, I felt I was always talking into a void ... in an environment and an industry where engagement is key, amongst many things, sometimes it felt that no matter how I felt about my work (proud of it, because I am!), it wouldn't amount to anything because it was hardly engaged with. or you know, to an extent.
in the time I was away before I uploaded some batch episodes I had done for my second season, I would still check on my dashboard, and wouldn't you know it -- the stories were still being read. in fact, there's hardly been a day where my series weren't read at least once, and some days there was a boom in engagement. and with the batch episodes I uploaded, hardly promoting them at all (I uploaded the first three to twitter and forgot to update afterward oops), the episodes were being read still. it was mind-boggling to me, but then it made me realize ... this is what it's all about, no?
i do have quite a few loyal readers who tune in to every update, which warms my heart dearly. for someone who doesn't really produce fan content on the regular, either (which might change this year as my fixations have started lending to it), I know that building my base from the ground up will have its roadblocks. but I love what I do, and I love my stories ... and knowing there are people who also appreciate them ... i just don't know how to truly express how eternally grateful I am. and if that's you, thank you! <3 with the batch episodes completed, as well as having some time before some new music comes out (oh yes, I make music as well and that's honestly how I was able to come out of the crash), I'm going to be writing up more scripts for 3820 and gearing up for a return sooner than later 
as well for my novel!
in the meantime, I'll leave my batch episodes down below! (I wanted to upload the drawings I had finally done after two months but no matter my resize, it won't let me TT) but also, has anyone had similar happen to/for them? or maybe you're in a tough spot now?
