Sometimes, I feel utterly disenchanted with my everyday life. Everything feels so predictable and stale. The same routine, the same faces, the same places – it's all just so... uninspiring. I wish I could jump into the world of the book I'm reading. Am I the only one who is psycho enough to dream about this?

No. That’s why most people consume, seek fleeting pleasures, and spend too much time thinking of fictional worlds.

That’s part of why I, and I assume a lot of the people here, make comics. It’s something fun to think about and put time into that actually produces something of (somewhat) value. Its a distraction from reality that takes more effort than just more consuming.

A fox dreams of escape when its leg is caught in the snare too. That dream is the only comfort it has.

Psycho enough to dream about a near-universal human experience that's been expressed by every other fictional protagonist basically ever...? Now that's a tough one...ㄟ( ▔, ▔ ;;; )ㄏ A real puzzler...

Wait, is dreaming considered psycho now? I thought this was a fairly normal thing, which most people at some point do. This is literally the reason why I create stories, so I can be in a different world for a while.
