Creation of Tapastic Charity Program

The revenue I have in the tapas, I do not think I will redeem it any time soon, and so I thought it would be nice if I could donate it to someone who really needed them, so I thought it would be nice if there was a choice or button in the tapastic which if the user activate it, it would give to the staff the right to receive all your revenue or a certain amount of your choice. So the staff could collect a significant amount give it to the poor . I know that the 4 dollars I have are not much but for someone who hasn't eat for days it's something. What do you guys think?

It would be interesting if you get to choose the foundation or cause you want to donate.It would be better if the donador chooses the ammount.

Anyway, if you want to donate to charity you can cash in your coins (when you have at least 25 dollars i think) and give those dollars for the people in need.

I guess that's the point: For some people it might take years to finally reach that critical 25$ mark, but they might still want to put the earned money to some good use.
Also, some people might want to just use their money from tapas for charity in general, since they personally don't need it.

So yeah, sounds like an lovely idea I would get behind.

But yes, there would be questions like "To which charity would it go to?" should be thought about. One might favour different organisations with very different topics. So it's not too easy to resolve. Offering to transfer to any personally chosen charity on earth might make things overly complicated.

Why not tip some of the creators in your library? I'm sure enough of them qualify as poor.

Ah, the question of "turing tips I got into coins I can tip"? I wish that was possible.
I think that was already discussed and dismissed once, but I can't remember why.

I know that creators need money but i don't think they need it more than a homeless guy, there are exceptions ofcourse , anyway if i could just give it to someone even a creator and not having them flying around on the internet it would be nice.

Bitlanders used to have charity option. Basically you could donate an amount of your choice to the charity of your choice. But it stopped now.
