Cropping Induced Blurriness

How do you guys prevent the finished pages from coming out really blurry when you put them on the site? I draw them with procreate at 7 by 10.5 inches, 300 dpi, and when I shrink them down to fit the width requirements they just come out so blurry. Is there some trick I don’t know about or something?

When you shrink them, are you keeping the same resolution with a different pixel dimension? Or, are you lowering the resolution but keeping the same dimension? There's a relationship between resolution and aspect ratio and if both become significantly lower than the threshold (300 dpi for print; 144ppi for screen), then you lose the quality.

Same resolution, different pixel widths. I’ll try messing with both of them and see if it helps.

try exporting with png, if you've been using jpeg it might compress a bit too
